"It's the time of year when I need to buy new pants, and ever since I discovered Cabela's Original Trailhiker pants, I've stopped wearing jeans. So, when I went to search for Trailhiker pants, I was really bummed when I discovered that they were discontinued. I ordered these pants thinking that they'd be a distant second to my Trailhikers, but was shocked then they arrived this week and almost instantly became my favorite pair of pants! They're cut better, and the stretch fabric comes in handy when making that long first step onto the back bumper of the truck. My only gripe is are that there are too many buttons. I prefer a riveted closure and velcro on the pockets, but that's small potatoes compared to a fantastic fit and function."

"I have a son who is over six feet tall, and also very skinny. The problem is his legs make up about 3/4 of his body, and we can never find shorts that are long enough. We ordered these hiker pants and had them sewn to a hem of 16 inches long. PERFECT!! My son loves them, and I have found a solution to clothes shopping for this hard to dress kid. Thanks Cabela's."

"These pants fit well and are VERY comfortable. We are river guides and are hard on our clothes. These pants stand up very well. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that the cargo pocket is a little small for a fully stuffed wallet. You can make the wallet fit, but it takes some effort. Overall a great pant especially at the sale price."

"I was looking for pants to wear for various outdoor activities, hunting, landscape photography, hiking, and home chores. These are perfect. Great fit, true to size. Lots of pockets, but not so many that they look too utilitarian for casual wear around town. The fabric has the perfect amount of stretch to be comfortable for all-around wear, including long travel days in the car or on a plane. I plan to get a couple of pairs in other colors."

"This is my second pair of these pants. Freedom of movement, long wearing and the fact that the design hangs straight at the hips gives a slimming effect.
