"So much better than the neo waders during the warmer days of hunting. Nice and light weight. Great for refuge hunting when you need to walk long distances to hunt. Would be better if they were not as loose fitting. Would much rather have a snug fit. Great choice."

"I wore only a set of sweats under these waders fishing for Salmon in Bartlet Cove, Gustavus , Alaska. Stayed as dry as could possibly be imagined and stayed just as warm. I had to hike in about 1.5 miles to fish, boots were comfortable. I was in wet conditions all along, the breathability of these waders was like no other. I have no complaints. Cant wait to test them this fall for duck season."

"I use these waist waders for both hunting and fly fishing for Atlantic Salmon. I find them to be the best fit for all around use. In terms of fly fishing fishing which is done during the summer months, the waist waders are nice and cool, provide great traction and ankle support for walking beside the river. They are just high enough to get out to the hard to reach areas without putting you in danger of being pushed off or swept down stream by the river currents. As well, I no longer have to worry about a wet underside, caused by stumbling around in rough areas or by splashing water in rough currents. The only thing that I did find to be a issue is with traction on the river bottom in cobble stone, they slip a little, but because they are waist waders you do not have to worry about getting a wet bottom. As for hunting all bases are covered, you have a nice breathable boot, raint pant, weather shield, you name it... traction is great and there are no obstructions to movement. I highly reccoment this product for any hunter or fisher....."

"A bit too big, I wear a size 10 shoe but these are waaaaay huge. I can pull these suckers up to my neck, I would say go a size smaller for anyone who is thinking about purchasing.
Kept me warm and dry! I am a happy snow goose shooter."

"As far as my ratings, I would NOT reccomend these to any of my LARGE FRAME friends (see below), and they would have been a 5, if my butt would have fit in them! Read the reviews carefully. At the beginning, a guy says they are too small, when you go no further (older reviews) they say they are too big (waist). Cabelas obviously paid attention and somewhere changed the waist measurements, greatly downsizing them. I have a 40" waist, and had to take off my jeans to get them to SQUEEZE them over my hips. When I sat down they were like skintight at the waist, trapping all the air inside,and blew up like a balloon around my thighs. I have to admit they felt great, the boot fit was perfect and the belt, small inside zipper pocket, and 3 shell loops on each side looked to be well designed and functional. I will be calling the store to find out if they have these in STOUT like they do in the Dry-Plus Chestwader."

"Thes are great waders if they fit. I have a 46 inch waist and they are way too small. If my waist was a 36 they would be perfect. I wish Cabela's would make breathable waders for the Big Man. Currrently the best choice for a Big Man are the Lacrosse Expandables but they are the 5mm neoprene and can be quite warm on a 45 degree and above day. I have these same waders in the chest high stout version and they were awesome until I put on some extra pounds. Now they are too tight and again, maybe they'll make the breathables for the Big Man for next year. I'll be the first to buy a pair!!"

"Neoprene waders do not hold a candle to these when it comes to comfort. You loose a little warmth but it is worth it with not being restrained by the limitations of neoprene waders. Easy on and off and light for walking to and from the blind. The double paneled knees are an extra security in durability. As far as I know, Cabela's is the only place you can get these boots."

"I have hunted for over 40 years. These are the best set of waders I have ever owned. These waders are the easiest on and off waders you will ever own. I was not sure they would be warm enough for the cold weather hunts in Nebraska, but they are just great. I read all the reviews before my purchase. Don't let all the talk about a poor fit scare you off. I have found in cold weather the sizing is just perfect for what you will want to wear under your waders. In the early season hunts I truly felt like I had a pair of dress pants on. My other concern was that they only have 600-gram Thinsulate , but that has been just the correct amount to keep my feet warm and DRY. The only change I would make to these waders would be suspender buttons on the inside for those who felt they were needed. This is one GREAT set of waders. Hope you enjoy."

"These waders have been great & are great for all around use. They have all the advantages of hip waders but keep your backside dry like chest waders. The only issue I have is with the belt. Having more traditional loops would make it easier to adjust. The extremely wide loops make it difficult to get that just right fit."

"Used only once flyfishing in a bellyboat so far, quality of the product is very good. Two things are needed to make it excellant. A waist belt with belt loops would be nice so that you could fold down the top part if wanted and also helps to prevent water inside the wader in a accident, also would like to have had suspenders or at least extra reinforced area on the waders to clamp the store bought suspenders too. They kept me completely dry for two hours in the water on a lake!"

"I've gone through lots of waders for the surf and these are the best! Light, comfortable, and great for the long hikes I have to take on the beach. Bootfoot are easy on/easy off. The absence of shoulder straps make casting much more comfortable. Since I don't wade too deep, the waist highs are perfect!"
