The De-Resonator, a unique design with NAVCOM, is a major breakthrough in controlling the vibrations
and barrel jump in rifles that cause discomfort and inaccuracy. This easy-to-install unit slips over the
barrel, where it counteracts the harmonic resonance (vibrations) from the instant the bullet is fired, as it
travels through the barrel and through its exit. By reducing the vibrations of the shot, even as the
bullet travels through the barrel, it increases the accuracy of every shot, additionally, the De-Resonator
also aids in target acquisition due to its ability to decrease barrel jump/walk at the shot. Easy to install,
compact design, tightens groups and fits multiple barrel sizes. Designed for scoped rifles without iron
sights. Now available for heavy bull barrels. Available:

Limbsaver,January 12, 2010
By FF3217from Fort Worth, TX
"Successfully reduced my groups by about 1/8"... so thats good...
If you have the money for a muzzle brake, do that. If not, these do something to help...
Dont know much about the recoil reduction-- it went on a Remington 700 in .30-06... but I was wearing a heavy jacket the day I used it, so its hard to tell..."

Really work,December 15, 2009
By RamblinRichfrom Yuba City, CA
"These little things really work. I had a .270 Win that did not give me satisfactory groups. I put a de-resonator on and started getting nearly one-hole groups at 100 yards. I tried it on several other rifles and all accuracy significantly improved. They all now have their own persoal de-resonator. I recommend thse most highly."

Works!,December 15, 2009
By blmontnefrom Mi
"I have four of these on calibers .204,.260,.300WSM, .338 Federal Same rounds fired through each rifle before putting the De-Resonator on, and after the De-Resonator was on, and the grouping improve on each rifle. Definitely worth the investment, it just works!"

Can tell no difference,November 25, 2009
By JoJo13from Summit, Mississippi
"I reload my own ammo and shoot many times, the Limb Saver De-resonator has stuck to the barrel of my gun. I think the heat of the barrel has cause it to melt to the barrel. I haven't figured out how I can adjust it or even take it complete off my gun. I may have to cut it off becuase I am unable to move it by my own power. While shooting I was unable to tell any differnce in the viberation."

It worked on my 7mm rem. mag.,November 4, 2009
By Jbordifrom Kimberly, Idaho
"I was amazed that this actually worked. I have a Rem. Model 700 SS SPS in 7mm mag. that would only shoot 1 inch groups (with reloads). I put this on the barrel about 2.5 " from the muzzle and yesterday I shot a 3 shot .395" group at 100 yds. My barrel is free floated on a Hogue stock. I will be trying this on my others rifles."

.280 Whip,November 1, 2009
By APmechanicfrom Watervliet, NY
"I have owned a Win. Model 70 in the .280 for some years. It has always been a source of frustration when it comes to its accuracy. I've tried many different types of ammo Remmington, Federal, Hornady with suttle to no change in it's accuracy, with an over all average group never being smaller then 4" off the "lead sled". I also have a .243 Model 77 Compact that will drive tacks and is what I take in the woods with me while the .280 sits in the cabinet. However since I like to be humbled every once in a while I still take the .280 out and dust her off, recently by chance my friend ha a de- resonator on his gun and with a lot of effort removed it so I could try it on my .280....... WOW!!!! Results were immediate slightly off the center but the group tightened to a 1" triangle. This barrel is a floating barrel in a Hogue Stock, I put it a couple of inches from the end of the stock. Good Luck with yours"

bullseye,October 26, 2009
By bowhunter1912from Pampa, Tx
"I got my product and took it out that day, where I was hitting my target with a 2" group I brought it in to a 1/2"to 1" grouping at 150yds. This little piece of rubber really works I have a 300 win. mag. and I have to admit I had my doubts at first but after only 3 rnds I changed my mind I shoot a 180 grn bullet still has a little kick but on the mark that's what counts ..Right!!!!? I love it I'm going to have a good season this year I like not haveing to do a lot of trailing(shoot & load up).....good quick kill shots are what it's all about...Thanks ...bowhunter1912 in Tx"

Good value,October 12, 2009
By PhoneProfrom Lempster, N.H.
"I purchased two Sims Limbsaver Barrel De-Resonators. I placed one on my Win. Model 70 in .270 cal. and the other on another Model 70 in 30-06 cal. I was shooting 3/4 inch groups with the .270 and 1/2 inch cloverleaf groups after placing the de-resonator. It definitely helped my group size. It did not help with the 30-06 not matter where I placed it on the barrel or what I worked up for handloads. This '06 never grouped better than 1.5 inches even after smoothing up the action and locking lugs and glass bedding it. The de-resonator can create a more accurate rifle by calming the barrel vibrations. It cannot improve the accurracy of all rifles as other reveiwers have atttested. I will try it again on my 7mm."

Definitely worth the money!!,August 5, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Ludlow, MA
"Purchased this for a Rem 700. Tightened up the groups that last four shots are touching. Be sure to read directions on whether barrel is free floated or not to affect placement location of De-Resonator on the barrel. For the money, it is definitely worth it for shrinking your patttern!!"

"Not only does it lessen recoil between shots and let you acquire your target faster but it also works as a place to rest your barrel when taking a shot at an animal so you dont scratch the bottom of the barrel."

Works great for me!,May 11, 2009
By DBD0WGfrom SC
"I have a Savage Model 10 in .204 Ruger that I dressed with a Boyd's custom laminate stock (also from Cabelas) and a custom trigger. It was reasonably accurate however it needed some help. A friend recommended this product and I placed it about 1/2 inch from the forend and shot a group that was improved but still not very good. (inch at 50 yds.) Then moved it out about 1.5 inches; same result. I then pushed it right against the forend (about 1/8 in.) and the groups magically shrunk to 1/3 inch at 50 yds! I was very pleased. So much so I am looking to get another one for a sick .22-250 I have. The trick is not to give up. Barrel harmonics are tricky and you have to find that sweet spot. It may be 1/4 from where you did not have a good group, just a little movement could make the difference. So try one and give it time their is a sweet spot somewhere on your rifle. Good luck and happy shooting! DBD0WG"

GROUP TIGHTNER,May 6, 2009
By DonnieDarco38from Taos, New Mexico
"I purchased this product for my custom built Springfield 1903-A3 .30-06 sporter rifle with light weight E.R. Shaw barrel. I was getting less than desired groups with this rifle, and decided to put this product on my rifle. The first 3 shot group off the bench at 100 yds went into a group that was less than 1/4" in size, and the 5-shot cluster went into a group that measured right at 1 MOA. Before the De-resonator my groups were anywhere from 1 1/2" to 4" in size. This product does seem to work, and I would recommend."

Great product.,March 22, 2009
By 71stIronmanfrom Arizona
"I purchased this product 2 weeks ago. Worked like a champ on my Winchester Model 70 lightweight 30-06. I also put on a limbsaver recoil pad at the same time. This product greatly reduced the barrel jump and the accuracy of my rifle. Along with the recoil pad.......The Sims company has made my 30-06 shootable!!! It was a mule before hand."

Accuracy imporvement,February 17, 2009
By Downunderfrom California
"I put one of these on my Remington 700VS 22-250 and brought the group from 1.5" to just under MOA using factory ammo. Worth the cost for a quick fix. Can't wait to shoot hand loads tuned to the barrell to see if the rifle can do the .243 size 5 shot group. Wish me luck."

WOW - It really works!,February 7, 2009
By WhiteTitanfrom Murfreesboro, TN
"Simply stated - WOW - It really works. Bench shooting Remi Core-Lokt & Federal Fusion 30-06 150gr from a Savage 111FCNS was yielding 2-3" groups, at best. After installation, was consistantly grouping at 1.5" and once punched three overlappping holes at 100 yards.
Had several other shooters comment that they had heard about them, but never seen one in action. Made a few converts yesterday.
Just goes to show that you don't have to have a multi-thousand dollar setup to get great shots. Sitting on top of the rifle is a Bushnel 3200 3-9 Firefly scope. Underneath is a Harris 8-13" bipod and on each end of the gun is some Limbsaver rubber. The De-stabilizer 1" from the crown and a shoulder pad on the other end.
A big "THANKS" to everyone else who recommended all the stuff.
My two cents worth - Get a Limbsaver Barrel De-resonator - it's the cheapest & easiest way to tighten your groups."
