By WTFReAKfrom Norfolk, Ne
"I just shot my first doe for the season, two weeks ago she was a 3 1/2 year old and she only went 10 yards before hitting the dirt! They will go through anything and they leave a great entrance and exit wound!! This was my first time using these broadheads and it wont be the last!"

Sweet Killin' Metal,September 30, 2009
By Alien77721from Edna, TX
"I bought these heads last year late in the season just for fun. Didn't even shoot them until a few months ago. Holey Pigs! These heads are AWESOME! I just unscrewed my field tips, screwed these guys in, and BAM! Hit in the same place every time! I have done numerous broadhead tests with lots of other heads and these are always more accurate, penetrate deepest, and stay sharper the longest. Further more, Magnus has an unbeatable LIFETIME warranty on these heads. Send them back for whatever legit reason, they send you a new one. Awesome!!"

Bad groups,September 12, 2009
By tdillingerfrom Pittsburgh, PA
"I consider myself a very good shot with a bow and i can hold sub two inch groups at 40 yards consistently. I shoot mechanicals not to be named and they are so close to the accuracy of a field point. The best grouping i could attain from the Magnus was 4 to 5 inches at best at 40 yards. 50 yards beyond 8 inches. I tried shooting at 20 yards and the grouping was about two inches I use maxima hunters so i know my shafts are good. I tried three Magnus's on several different shafts (all Maxima Hunters) and the results were all the same as noted earlier. I feel the Magnus four blade does not fly as true as my current and i can say they do not fly even close to a field point. I really wanted these stickers to be the "magic bullet" because of all the positives. Penetration comparable to my current which i feels is excellent. The construction is top notch and the sharpness is excellent. The warrany cant be any better, plus made in USA. However, i cannot shoot the broadheads with confidence of making a clean kill. Placement is so important to bow hunting, being off just and inch or two makes the difference of a good clean pass to a bad shot. I did not contact Magnus for an exchange or comment. I am sure with their warranty i could have found an alternative broadhead to try. I gave them to a needy friend to try and use. All in all a ok broadhead with top quality but the accuarcy with my setup not so good."

"Great Broadhead flys great shot a Elk at 47 yards large pools of blood went aprox 40 yards and was finished. the Broad head went clear through and stuck in a tree. Once I got it out of the tree , i could have re used it right away. This is agreat Broad Head . Blood trails are always dependent on where you place your shot."

"I've never had arrows fly better off my bow then when I used the magnus buzzcut, also nothing can cut or stay sharp better then these have been for me. I've shot through my target into the backside of the hill multiple times and the broad heads are as sharp as they came out of the package."

Buzz Cut gets the job done!!!!!!!!!!,November 22, 2008
By 1776Flintlock1776from USA
"40 yards using my Hoyt Lazer Tech;Hot Dot sight; Trophy Taker drop away rest and Carbon Express arrow.
All good stuff but it was the Magnus that seals the deal!!!
I have consistently dropped does with this set up.
This year from an elevated stand I took a 40 yard shot and got my first buck with a bow!!.
I hit right where I was aiming. The 6 point buck did a back flip and expired right there. No tracking, again!
Others may complain about lack of blood trail and think it was their gear. I think there issue may be more with their shot placement.
The longest I had a deer go after being hit with a Magnus was 20 yards and that was some time back. Again, I take my time and with this gear they drop where they stand!
Keep your Magnus packaging if the blades ever break keep them and when you fill the blister pack send them back to Magnus for a free replacement!"

New Buzzcuts,November 17, 2008
By Jaypofrom Louisiana
"I've been shooting the Magnus 2 blade broadheads for the last couple of years, but I wanted to try the Buzzcuts. I bought some last week, and they fly like darts! They actually shoot better than my field points. I can't wait to take down a deer with these heads! They were pretty sharp right out of the package, but after a couple of passes with my Accusharp, they shaved hair from my arm with no problem. I have come to expect this kind of quality from Magnus, and now, I can't wait to harvest something with them! I have no reason to try any other brand of broadheads, because no one else has a product of the same quality with a lifetime guarantee!"

"My 14 year old son wanted to try these broadheads this year so I got him some. He is only shooting 50lbs. so we wanted something with good penetration. Guys, I read all the reviews on here about lack of blood trails. I was really concerned because I was taking him to Illionis hunting with me this fall. We did all kinds of research on these heads, almost decided not to use them before the season even started after reading some of these review. Man am I glad we decided to keep them. On the first day of our N.C. season he shot a 5pt. that went only 50 yards. A few days later a doe same results. Then we go to Illinois and he shoots a beautiful 8pt that goes 60 yards after a great lung shot. These broadheads fly like darts, are very tough and they leave GREAT bloodtrails dont be like me and be cautious after reading some of these reviews, go ahead and use them. If you hit where you are SUPPOSE TO you will have no problems. Its all in shot placement. Great Product."

Bleeders Don't Bleed...,October 20, 2008
By BowtechBoyfrom texas
"At first I was impressed with the flight of these broadheads. They flew just like my field tips and looked nasty enough to cause some serious bleeding. However, I was wrong. I shot a buck yesterday. It was an angled shot piercing the liver, clipping one lung and destroying the other. It was a nice pass through with a large spatter puddle on the ground. Luckily, I saw where the deer went (60 yards away) because there wasn't a drop of blood to trail. When I cleaned the deer, he was filled with blood, but none was leaking out the entry or exit wound. It caused serious internal damage and killed the deer quickly, but doesn't cut enough to leave a decent blood trail. This would be a great broadhead for hunting in open terrain, but in the thick brush of east texas I would recommend something different."

super,July 16, 2008

"so far i have shot a small antelope and a pretty big bear with these broadheads and had awesome results. as for a blood trail i have no idea because i have never had to look for one they both droped within 10 yards of where i shot them. they shoot just like feild points and are pretty durable. An elk missed my arrow last year and it hit the dirt/rocks and the broad head held up great. i dont even buy the replacement blades for them because they are plenty thick enough to sharpen."

Good Penetration.....Weak Blood Trail,July 15, 2008
By GeorgiaNolefrom Georgia
"I used these in the Fall of 2007. They look really good with the serrated blades, and you would think that they really create a nasty wound channel, but I was disappointed. I had a doe that was about 20 yards from the base of my tree and I put a nice shot on her, right in the gearbox. Although she ended up not that far from the point of impact, the blood trail was almost non-existent and it took me a long time to find her. I have some of these left but will keep them for backups at best. I am switching to mechanicals this year. If you are hunting in the middle of a mowed field then they are fine but if you are in the woods with thick cover/transition zone I would say stay away from these."
