An amazing blend of aerodynamics and cutting width tested and proven deadly on the world's largest
game. And everything about this head is rugged - from its stout blade-locking system to its one-piece
stainless steel ferrule. The tapered, nonvented Deadly Curves blade design makes it field-point
accurate, silent in flight and provides the slicing surface to inflict high-volume hemorrhaging. Blades
slide into the ferrule on T-Lock bases and are held rigidly in place by Tight Point O-Ring Technology.
These heads maintain integrity through the heaviest impacts and stay assembled off the arrow. A
razor-sharp chisel-style tip initiates penetration, and the .041"-thick blades finish the job. You simply
won't believe a broadhead this tough and lethal can be so accurate. Per 3.

Poor packaging,November 20, 2009
By Silverbassmanfrom Lafayette, IN
"The packaging on these broadheads is pathetic. They're preassembled broadheads and they are packaged so the blades are in constant contact with a premolded plastic container. Needless to say, they're really dull by the time they get to the customer and difficult to sharpen because of the blade design. They are, however, well constructed and fly well out of my bow."

Shuttle T's,September 20, 2009
By TheKiddfrom Cosmopolis WA
"By far a great, if not the greatest broadhead made. Good cut on contact tip and blades. Bullettproff in design, deadly on game, and nearly indestructable. Produce great wound channels and they simply just kill!!! Very accurate and consistent. The combination of Easton FMJ shafts and these heads are a wonderful thing, good penetration, accuracy and devestating wound channells, and of course a good shot result in short blood trails and recovered game, just what an archer or responsible hunter wants...."

BEST BROAD HEAD EVER,September 20, 2009
By QuiverSafarisfrom Wapiti Bowmens, Port Angeles, WA
"I have used these broad heads at velocities of 265 ~ 345 Ft/sec in compound bows and crossbows, through the shoulder blade of a pronghorn, and a blessbok. Made a clean pass through the a Bison a Wildebeest, Impala, Blacktail, Whitetail, I took an 8' black bear in Alberta, and another 20 or so game animals around the world. Very tough, accurate. I do recommend this broad head, all of my hunting partners now use it."

One of the best fixed blades available,August 30, 2009
By MTbackcountryfrom MT
"I have used these broadheads for two seasons-and currently in the middle of a third. They are reasonable easy to spin-tune, fly very well and are quiet. Penetration so far has been outstanding even through bone on whitetail, mule deer and elk. The cut-on-contact tip generally needs a VERY fine touch-up with a very light pass over a draw file. Will see how they do this year."

worthy investment,August 14, 2009
By airohunterfrom oregon bowhunter
"always one to look for something better i bought a pack last year. at first they looked cheap and poorly made. however when i put them to the test they faired well. I always test any new head for flight, noise, strength and it abillty to hold an edge. hands down the quitest broadhead i have ever shot. certainly top of the list with accuracy as well. Although they impressed me when shot multiple times through 1/2" plywood and then the cinder block, i would have to say the blades dull easy and are a pain to sharpen, i noticed they penetrated a few inches less than innerlocs and montecs i was also shooting that day. i look forward to shooting there new straight blade "terminal lock ". i think that could be the "perfect broadhead". 100grains @ 295fps 385grain total weight."

trophy faker,August 10, 2009
By tc5580from west coast
"I give them an extra star because of accurate flight, no tuning problems. As far as hunting, I wouldn't use these again. Took me 1/2 hour to put a respectable edge because of blade design. I hit my first doe perfect broadside shot 20 yards and arrow deflected and caught some intestine. That smelled great! Didn't think much of it untill I shot an incredible 200 lb blacktail 25 yards smack in the side and the arrow exited his belly. Thats a 90 degree deflection! I was lucky to get another shot which I placed even farther forward and that one deflected back and caught the liver, which killed him quickly. Three shots, three deflections. Next deer I used a G5 striker and had complete pass through the spine, no deflection, no tracking, no gut goop. I used mathews reezen and axis arrows traveling 292 fps."

Very good,August 6, 2009
By bboonerfrom Northeast Iowa
"These broadheads work very well! I shot a 152 in. 10 point at 15 yards and it went into the other front shouilder while breaking a couple ribs the buck only went 50 yds. Then shot a couple does with the same broadhead. I am very pleased with these. The only thing is they are hard to resharpen so you need to get replacement blades more often."

Impressed so far,July 21, 2009
By hickerybluffsbowhunterfrom Southern Iowa
"Tightest groups I've ever shot with fixed blade. Got more penetration than other heads. Love the thick blades. There's a question of blade sharpnest that makes me give only a 4 rating until I hunt with them. Because of the curvature of the blades they will be difficult to resharpen."

I couldnt believe it,April 13, 2009
By BEaton
"I have used some off brand broadheads up till now and bought these by firm recemendation of a friend I shot a blacktail this last season at just under 60 yards the shot was better than i believed the wound was devestating clean pass through a wound bigger than a quater on each side and left a blood trail as big as a freeway the buck walked a total of 10ft il admit they arent the sharpest out of the package but they stay package sharp i found the arrow after killing that buck and was able to kill another buck later that week on the same head first shot broke 5 ribs passed through clean second broke its shoulder and 3 ribs both clean cleans less than 10 yards deer died so im sold on these Unbelievably acurate and savagely effective what more can i say"

AWSOME Broadhead!,February 26, 2009
By Zrock01from Washington State
"I was alittle sceptible at first. My friend recommended it to me so I bought a pack. They fly great, just like my field points. I had to make no changes. I arrowed a bear and deer this year with the same head.
The bear, I made one of the worst shots I have ever made. The arrow entered just after the ribs on the left side and exited through the hip bone on the right side. The bear went less then 100 yards and was dead cold! and no damages to the broad head.
My deer I shot alittle far back but got both lungs. complete pass through, and took out two ribs! after shooting my bear. (Note, I did not change anything after shooting my bear, just washed it off and made sure everything was good.) deer went 30 yards and fell down. I'll never switch!"

Shuttle T Loc,February 18, 2009
By ChadfromWIfrom Wisconsin
"I started shooting the Shuttle T lock over 2 years ago under recommendation from my local pro shop owner. He told me they had taken the ATA top fixed blade broadhead two years in a row. I decided to give them a try with my Easton FMJ 400's. I was unexpectedly surprised by the groups at modest yardage and continued to shoot them out to my effective range of 60 yards. I held a 3" group consistently in a subtle wind of 5-7 mph. I switched to tham that season and have not looked back. Since that I have recommended them to several archers for hunting, only to hear positive feedback from them as well. I have personally taken 6 whitetail up to 40 yards with them and have yet to have an arrow that doesn't pass through. I guess it must be where I am aiming compared to some of the reviewers who said they have had problems. This year one of the guys I recommended the set up to took an antelope at 97 yards as well as a Whitetail at 40+. Like every good set up, you have to tune your arrows and BROADHEADS to your bow. You can't just throw them on and expect them to hit where your field tips do. I would recommend these fixed blades to any archer who is serious about archery and knows how to set up his equiptment for a humane hunt. They are sharp enough to take any animal and fly as true as a expandable when a bow is tuned. With that being said, if you are aiming at bone, you will hit bone and untill they sell bone slicing broadhead, I aim for kill shots. Have not shot a broadhead yet that can take out a bad bone shot 100% of the time."

Best Penetration,February 4, 2009
By Timmons7from Lugoff, SC
"I shot 4 deer with this head this year and was very satisfied with the amount of penetration and the bone crushing force of these heads. If you are looking for penetration look no further. I shot a 125 pound buck in the spine at 19 yards and the arrow passed completely through the deer, then later I shot a doe at 37 yards she was quartering hard away from me and it was raining almost dark and I was hunting alone so I attempted a spine shot i whistled to stop her and when she stopped I released the arrow. Well by the time it got to her she was attempting to jump the string and had lowered so much that her head was now where her back was. The arrow didnt care. It went in behind her ear left ear and came out just to the right of her right eye. The arrow passed completely through her head. These blades do get damaged and have to be replaced and because of the curvature of them they are almost impossible to resharpen once they are dull. But the blades are easy to replace and the broadhead is very well built.
I am shooting a DXT set at 68# and 28" My arrows were easton lightspeeds cut to 27" with 100 grn tips the arrows only weighed in at 358 grains so it wasnt that i was shooting heavy stuff at them.
another thing do not use easton lightspeeds for hunting i learned that the hard way, they break way to easily.
They do fly exactly like fieldpoint from my setup. To test this i shot a 3D elk at 55 yards with a fieldpoint and then pulled out a arrow with the shuttle-ts and shot. Believe it or not when I went down to look the arrow shafts were almost touching each other. Maybe it was luck but i never had a problem with them planing."

Not sharp at all,January 11, 2009
By BuckBuster87from illinois
"I was very excited about getting these broad heads. I had heard good things about them. I was in the stand 1 night when a nice 9 Pointer came in. I shot and the arrow hit right behind the frount sholder. I thought was a done deal. i got out of the stand to find no blood or hair. I walked down the trail and found 2 drops. Never found the deer. Next day I arrowed a doe same story. NO BLOOD. After loosing 2 deer I switched to broad heads that cut a bigger wound channel. I looked at the last broad head and it didn't even come shart out of the box. Very Bad product"

bitterly dissapointed,January 6, 2009
By zooeyfrom TX
"I have shot Muzzy three blade broadheads for my entire bowhunting career, but decided to try out the new Shuttle T-Lock broadheads after I heard positive reviews from my friends. I was skeptical from the start ... the blades are not Muzzy sharp. But I tried the broadhead anyways. Big mistake ...
I shot a doe with the Shuttle T-Lock three days ago. Unfortunately, my shot was less than ideal. At 15 yards, I hit the deer slightly forward, striking the shoulder blade. Because the deer was facing perfectly broadside, I wasn't worried initially. I have had friends who have made this same shot on deer with Muzzy's or Thunderhead's and the broadhead has always penetrated at least one shoulder blade, resulting in a double lung or heart kill. It may not have been a pass-through shot, but it it was fatal, nonetheless.
When I started tracking, I knew something was wrong. There was almost no blood: I found one spot on a leaf where the deer had entered the brush. I followed tracks for another 50 yards or so and then came across the arrow. The broadhead was covered with blood, but from the blood on the arrow I could see that it had penetrated less than three inches. Not good. The broadhead had not broken the shoulder blade, and it was probably not a fatal shot. Needless to say, with little penetration and no blood, it was pointless to try to follow up the doe through the thick Texas brush.
I should have taken this broadhead back as soon as I felt how dull it was compared to my Muzzy. It's a mistake that I'll not make again. If the blades are sharpened, it might have performed better, but I have reservations about the broadhead design as well ... I don't believe it's relatively small diameter and short profile are as suited to "bone-breaking" as other leading broadheads on the market.
So that's my review. I have admittedly had little experience with this broadhead, and cannot be counted as an authority on any level. But the one experience I did have was dissapointing. I believe that, had I been shooting my trusty Muzzy's, I would have recovered the deer, even if my shot was something less than perfect. On the plus side, I did have excellent grouping with the Shuttle T-Lock and field-point accuracy. But accuracy cannot overcome flawed design and out-of-the-package blade dullness. I won't be shooting this broadhead again."
