You're twenty feet up a tree in your stand and you want to look around with your binoculars, but you've got your bow in your hands. If you had a Bow Hanger, this wouldn't be a problem. It positions and holds your bow at the ready 20" from the tree - easily reached with minimal movement. It's rubber coated for noise reduction and the pivot is made so your bow won't swing away if things aren't exactly level. There are even accesory hooks to hold those binoculars, a rangefinder, or other items.

"This unit you need to be careful as too not over load. What would make this better is to have a knuckle in order to bend the unit towards you or away."

"Doesn't swivel so bow hangs in your face when seated. It is solid though when screwed in, makes a great armrest."

Primos Bow Hanger - To heavy!,November 21, 2006
By FishmaninTexasfrom Central Texas
"I am a public land hunter, so I pack in everything to my hunting location. The Primos bow hanger looked good in the catalog, and in fact, lived up to all of the claims made for the product. However, it is heavy and bulky to carry. I was also not able to set it up so that my bow was easily accessible while in my treestand. It did handle copious amounts of equipment with ease, however. The wedge-shaped screw looked unconventional, but it was easy to install in the tree, and was very secure. The rubber protector for the screw is nice, but stinks to high heaven. Be sure and remove it before taking the hanger into the field.
In short, for someone who wants the capacity and doesn't mind the weight, the Promos bow hanger is a quality product. However, single screw-in hooks are much cheaper and lighter, and work better for the hunter on the move. Also, a stand-mounted bow holder works better in that role, in my opinion."

Primos Bow Hanger,November 15, 2006
By Randominatorfrom Central Kentucky
"Found this product to be a lot better than the typical screw-in tree hanger. Positions your bow out, away from the tree in perfect position to grab when needed. Height can be positioned to use either sitting or standing. Accessory hooks are useful for hanging binos and calls. Wish the screw-in point had a sharper angle, sometimes difficult to start on tight bark trees. Once in position, very sturdy."
