"Was pleased with the shipping time. Also pleased that the charger had a 12 volt charge cord as well as AC. Most of the time we're out we would have to charge up off an inverter off the cirgarette lighter. Now we can just plug in and go."

"Let me start by saying that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the charger pack. The problem with it was that it was listed as being compatible with the GXT850 radio, but it is not. Cabela's was great dealing with the return. I had to contact Midland, and while they do NOT have a package available for the GXT850 radio, they did put one together for me."

"Good to feel secured about power reserve while on the go.
An adaptor to recharge the batteries alone instead of the complete radio sets would be even better. Caution the AC/DC adaptor works only from 120 Volts."

"I now have 8 sets of these, and they work great.We go hunting for 2 weeks and need extras.They seem to hold charge longer than the reg rechargeable AA batterys.The D/C adapter makes it nice if you run low."

"I purchased this charger with two batteries in order to recharge a second set of batteries while I used my other set in the walkies. But there is no way to charge the batteries unless they are in the walkie itself. They should (as all other makes do come with a cradle adaptor so that only the batteries can be charges."

"I like the convenience of having the radios charge in my truck. The charger base is wide enough that I don't have to worry about it tipping over. I would highly recommend buying the charger pack with the radios, almost as a necessity."

"Don't even waste the money on buying bulk AA batteries. The charger pack was used every day and we never had a problem with the radios running out of power. Very compact and easy to use, so it's a must to own this as far as I'm concerned and if you plan on purchasing any of the Midland series radios."
