"Comfortable, short break-in period, light, and stays dry. Just finished a rainy weekend hunting deer in northern Minnesota. The only thing that didn't get wet was my feet. Walked for miles and these boots felt like sneakers. Great traction over slippery, wet, icy rocks, logs, you name it. These boots work as advertised."

"Great upland boot. Bought a pair and wore them pheasant hunting in South Dakota for 4 straight days right out of the box with complete comfort. Very durable outer shell and waterproof as long as you keep moving. Will leak a little if standing still in water too long. Great boot overall and will buy another pair when these wear out."

"Super-light - - easy on your feet. I have misgivings about the sole, though ... on cooler days (25 degrees F) , it got a little stiff , so it thumps on packed soil. Also , I took a tumble on a wet mossy rock that I might not have taken if the tread was a little more aggressive.
My feet stayed dry and warm with just a pair of boot socks on inside these - - maybe a little too warm at 50 degrees F, when the bottom of my feet got quite moist with perspiration.
The upper shell is a little noisy in the low-hanging whip, making close-quarters stalking a bit dicey here in Northern Vermont's October Archery season.
These boots are extremely well-suited For the day-trip type of still hunting I prefer. I also watched a doe cross my backtrail within 3 minutes , and she did not alert, so the scentlok (and my pre-hunt de-scenting regimen) works well.
Let's see how they hold up , but (overall) , I'm satisfied."

"This is the second time I have bought this particular boot for many reasons. People may not believe this but two weeks after I received my boots and was sure that this was still my size and that I know there is no other boot for me. I am getting ready to order two more pair of the Wolverine Antelope series boot because I am afraid they might discontinue the boot for some unknown crazy reason. This is the lightest most comfortable boot I have ever had. I am an outfitter/guide/farmer and I wear this boot 6 and 1/2 days of the week most of the year. They are breathable but very waterproof. I wore the last pair until I had worn holes in the outer layer and they were still waterproof. If I could put a picture of them in here I would. "I originally bought these boots from Cabela's and loved the feel and weight of them. I live in Canada and after wearing the boots about 10 times (1 season) they started leaking. Wolverine Canada replaced the boots with the Canadian version "Whitetail". These also started leaking after a dozen or so wears and now leak everytime they're worn. These latest boots have a leather portion and the seams actually fell apart. Wolverine customer service say they're out of warranty and refuse to help. I'm not impressed anymore...buy from another manufacturer."

"Just returned from bowhunting elk for 14 days in Arizona and Montana and these boots performed very well. They are light, comfortable and very quiet. The only issue was a slight squeak at first. Waxed the laces with bowstring wax and they were deadly quiet."

"These Antelope boots are the best waterproof, light weight, comfortable out of the box, boots there are for the money, for putting on allot of miles every day. The sole is formed for walking ease and comfort. I have used these boots for many years chasing Elk. These boots are quiet walking and do not were you out. You could sleep in them. "I have had two pair of these, and both have leaked after about a year. They are very comfortable, durable, and lightweight. However, if they don't keep my feet dry they are worthless to me. Cabela's has been extremely good to work with in exchanging these but it is a hassle sending them back and I find it embarrasing too. I will reorder a pair of Cabela's Kangaroo Upland boots which I have had before and did get at least a few years of good waterproof use from (these have gone thru a bit of a design change and aren't quite as light as they once were and don't have the d-ring lacing system they once did either). The Antelope's are fairly good boots to hunt in and walk alot in but if you want dry feet I hope you have better luck with them than I have."

"We have used the same boots three years for back country archery hunting in various weather conditions from 90 plus deg. to 0 deg. F in snow. These boots breath well in hot weather conditions and stay dry in wet conditions. The camo holds the color and cleans up well with just water and a brush. These boots remain scent free.... Just recharge them in the dryer on high heat for 45 minutes to recharge the carbon, add a little scent free foot powder, bag'm and you are ready to go.
With the below listed gear we don't need to watch the wind anymore. If the animals spook it is not because of the gear.
We combine these boots with Cabela's top of the line Scent-Lok cloths, hoods, gloves and scent eliminating personal hygiene products to get elk and deer almost stepping on us every year. Ever been on a stalk after a record book mule deer and out of corner of your eye catch a different 36" plus buck just come walking out of timber accross your sight line inside 25 yards as though you were never there? That's what these boots and gear did for us in 2008."

"I needed a good pair of boots to turkey hunt in. I had trouble breaking these books in. I'm in my third year with them and just now feeling comfortable with them on. They leak very badly!! You can't even walk through wet grass without getting your feet wet! Would not recommend this boot."

"Super light and very comfortable boot - these points are the highest possible rating. With regard to traction these are better than expected but not great. I did experience some problems in using the boots in Wyoming when I ran into some cactus - these boots are not sturdy enough to repel cactus and I was cut up pretty bad. They also leak water like crazy - not good on this point at all. Overall - wear them where there is no cactus and it's dray and walk like crazy. Do not expect to wear these comfortably in the snow or rain or cactus. These are good for some purposes and not good for others."
