Great Scopes for the price!, October 25, 2009
    By Lancero from SE Idaho

"I purchased the Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 Rifle Scope and the Landmark Spotting Scope two years ago, mounted the rifle scope on my 300 WSM. Zeroed in at the recommended range (200 yards) for the 300 WSM. Had a Muley walk out of the Junipers at 650 yards. Adjusted to 10 power to observe his actions, the clarity was very good at that range. Several times had does go in and out from his location. Was able to pick out the buck the whole time while I waited for a good shot. At 500 yards he stepped into a clearing give me a perfect shot. I placed the 500 yard tic mark on him and down he went.

If you know the range to your target, the ballistic plex takes all the guess work out of the equation if you have zeroed in correctly.

I am very pleased with the Burris Fullfield Scope for the price. The Spotting Scope is OK, it is compact, lite and easy to use. I use the spotting scope to see if deer have any horns after spotting them with my binos.

"I see a lot of gear in the field. The rifle scope is perfect. It performs like a $700 scope. The spotting scope is not waterproof and does not carry the same warrenty as the rifle scope. However the spotting scope works very well. You cannot beat this deal."

    unbelievable shot, October 23, 2008
    By shotmaker from Austin, Co.

"I took a nice 5 by 5 bull elk this Colorado elk season. I just put a new Burris 4.5 X 14 with the ballistic plex reticle on my 300 win. mag. I took the bull elk at 426 yds. And the Burris scope came threw with flying colors with a perfect shoulder shot. Very satisfied with both the scope and the spotting. Thanks Burris."

"The Fullfield II is a good scope and the Landmark spotting scope is a nice addition. There are certainly better scopes out there but for the money the Burris FFII is a good choice both for value and for quality."

    Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14, October 22, 2008
By BowhunterMSC from Glasgow KY, Bowhunter for over 30 years.

"I mounted this scope on a custom built mauser rifle chamberd in 264 winchester magnum. I sighted the scope in at 200 yards as recommonded. I then shot the gun at 300 and 400 yards using 5 shot groups. I found the graduations on the crosshairs to match exactly those of a 7mm magnum. Considering the 264 uses the 7mm magnum brass necked down this is not surprising. The crosshair was dead on at 200 and the first graduation was 1" low at 300 and the third graduation was dead on at 400. The scope has good clairty but I have not tried it at dusk or dawn to determine its low light transmission ability. Normally light transmission is a factor of the objective size and lens transmitting capability. The larger the objective the more light the scope lets in and the better the glass the more light can travel through it without being dispersed. I had a leupold VX-3 on this gun that I replaced with this Burris. So far I like the Burris better."

burris fullfield II, October 7, 2008
    By Anonymous from Plainview, Texas

"The Burris Fullfield II rifle scope is hands down an awesome scope. I have owned Nikons, Bushnells, Leupolds, Simmons, and Burris scopes. The Fullfield II is clearer, brighter, and moe accurate than anything else I have ever used.
With the ballistic reticle, all you have to do is hold over the measured distance with tick marks inside the scope, be steady, and be ready to collect your trophy. The bullet drop chart that comes with the scope is dead on. I just happen to use Hornady Light Magnum loads for my 25.06 and it was right on.
It was so good I spent the money for a second Burris for my wife's 22-250.
If I ever need another scope, there is no doubt what I will get and where I will get it.
Thank you, Cabella's and Burris, for a fine scope.
P.S. I fogot to mention the 4.5-12x42 combo package. The spotting scope works great too. Especially for the price. I have no idea why anybody would by anything else. With Burris, you by fine equipment. With everybody else, you are just buying a name.

"I bought a TC pro hunter rifle last year, and put an older scope on it. This year I upgraded to a burris fullfield II scope. This scope with 4.5-14x power is perfect for my .270 caliber. Great clarity, value, and it came with a 12-24x spotting scope that, well is a win win situation for me as both scopes are really nice. I am very pleased with the performance of both."

    Burris Fullfield, May 30, 2008
    By A14RAustin from WY.

"I purchased my first Burris scope in 2005 and placed it on a new Winchester 270 WSM, that I was having custom built. At the range, I couldn't have been happier with the performance this scope provided down range on paper. At 200 yards, this combo consistently shoots 5 shot nickle sized groups. In the spring of 2005 I took this rifle and scope to Canada and shot two black bears with one shot each. In the fall of 2005, I shot a mountain lion with one shot. In the summer of 2007, I took this rifle to Africa and shot 11 differnet animals, all with one shot. I've also shot 3 deer and 3 elk with this rifle, all with one shot. The ranges during these hunts varied from 18 yards to 512 yards, on a rangefinder. The scope has survived being tortured by numerous airline baggage handlers and still continues to perform flawlessly. Even after having one of the dust covers damaged, while in my rifle case, Burris was a pleasure to work with and the new cover was ordered and recieved without incident. I have since purchased three more Burris scopes, and I'm happy to say they all perform this well. I would not hesitate to say that you get middle range Leupold quality, but you save $300.00, because you're not paying for the bigger brand name."

    Great Scope, February 20, 2008
    By Colo1 from Colorado

"Very impressed with the quality of this scope. Optics are better than anything else in it's price range. Zoom is incredible. Have it mounted to my Remington 700 SPS SS with Burris bases and Burris signature rings. I did need to buy the Burris offset rings to get the mount dialed in, but I was very happy with the way it turned out.
The spotting scope is great also. Unbelievable quality considering the fact that it's "free". Very compact and easy to take into the field. Very bright. Comes with a case and covers.
Would recommend this combo to anyone looking for a quality scope.

    Burris Combo, February 20, 2008
    By CodyB

"I have found the scope to be of excellent quality and put it to the test in Colorado and New Mexico on mule deer and elk hunts. I looked at other scopes that were a lot more expensive and feel that I have got a scope equivalent to them with the Burris. I know the old saying "You get what you pay for in optics", but I feel I got more scope for less money with this product. I highly recommend it. The spotting scope is just an added bonus because the scope alone is worth the price."

fullfield II 4.5 -14x42 do buy or not, February 20, 2008
    By manoamist from Hawaii

"Burris is known for quality optics and scopes specifically. The fullfield II is not the banner or top of the line, but I got what I paid for. It's a good middle of the road scope in-line with bushnell. You get good optics, average, not great performance. Try the eight click drill, fire, up 8, left eight, down eight and right eight, then up eight, ... you should be back to the starting sighter. It should also look like a square. Fullfield performed marginally on this test. Rather ragged and round shape instead. Shock test is also average to just below average. After storage for a short time, you first shot at best will be in the neighborhood, not on zero."
