Great for the beginner,
January 25, 2008
By Clap

"I began bow hunting two years ago and as of now I am fully immersed in the hobby. I decided that if I’m spending the money on equipment, I might as well enjoy fletching my own arrows and taking pride in every aspect of the hunt from bow tuning to building arrows. In the beginning I ruined several arrows during target practice, and decided to learn how to fletch my own. Following my research on-line and reviewing several different options for fletching, I decided on the Arizona Archery Fletch III Fletching Jig based on price and ease of use. I must say that after my first attempt at using this product I would recommend it to everyone. I don’t fletch many arrows at a time and the ease of use and speed for the price is unbeatable. Fletching placement is spot on every time and there is very little need for clean-up or even a steady hand. If you are in a similar situation in which you don’t need the most expensive equipment and want a great piece of equipment for the money then this is definitely it."

it broke!!!!!!!!,
October 12, 2008
By matthew19

|
"the title says it all my arizona archery fletch 3 fletching jig broke on me. i was fletching a new set of arrows and was on my second fletching of my arrow when the arm of the clamp ended up breaking on me. it comes with very little instructions on how to use it. i figured out how to fletch the arrows with it but it is too late now and for those who will purchase this product i will tell you now that to get your fletching out of the clamp remove the metal clips and do not try to pull up on it."

Arizona Archery Fltech III Fletching Jig,
April 27, 2008
By pasttime2000
from Losd angeles, California
|
"As a Los Angeles, California amateur archer with few if any archery supply shops nearby, I was amazingly surprised at the ease of use of the Arizona Archery Fletch III Fletching Jig to fletch more than a dozen old, worn arrows. Despite not having any experience with fletching, after de-fletching using Cabelas also supplied defletcher, I was able to accurately fletch more than a dozen arrows with a relatively shorts period of time usign also purchased fletch glue."

too much room for error,
March 2, 2008
By bownutpa

"There is too much room for error for beginners. If you push too hard it will pull fletchin from ends when you take pressure off. I use a small diameter shaft . I am not sure if I have a defective product or not it might be me."

AAF III Fletching Jig,
January 21, 2008
By Guiness
from Ellensburg, WA

"This is a great product. The cost is very resonable and does exactly as it says. I'm new enough to the archery scene that I now need to start rebuilding and refletching my arrows. I made my decision on what to buy by looking at price and product reviews. I've never put new fletchings on my arrows until now and this product makes refletching very easy. It says you can download instructions but the device is so easy to use, you can look at it and know how to use it right out of the package. It evenly spaces your fletchings and has marks on the clamp to evenly line them up on the shaft. If your looking for a device that sets 3 feathers at one time, this is not for you as it only will glue one at a time. However, after having done a dozen or so arrows, Ive gotten quick enough that glueing one at a time is not an issue. I also like that it is light weight and portable. For the money, I'm extremly pleased with this product."

Pretty good tool,
January 16, 2008
By Bear21
from Broad Brook Ct.
|
"I've got to say it works pretty darn good. I had a couple arrows where the feathers were comming off because I was getting to tight a group with my Parker Crossbow. So I bought this tool at the suggestion of the Cabelas rep. It is a good tool and works fine. I think it will break easy if abused but it's a cheap enough price, and will work in the feild."

Okay for limited use.,

By 40Flinter

"I've been using it to keep my practice arrows serviceable. It wouldn't be my product of choice if I had 2 dozen arrows to refletch in a hurry, but that's probably not what it's intended for. Allowing for drying time, I can do one 3 vane arrow in 30 minutes. Comes with a small tube of Fletching gel, but I've had better luck with Fletchtite cement that I bought later."

Not an easy Jig,

By AndrewEncore

"I used this jig several times only to ruin vanes and it is very frustrating to use. It's not very smoothe operating as far as attaching the vane and then rotating it to do the next. It just was not what it was made out to be."

Arizona Archery Fletch III Jig,
November 21, 2006
By Jackster101
from Perkasie, PA
|
"The Arizona Fletch III jig is much easier to use than I had expected. It places feathers or vanes positively on the arrow and holds them in place. Since it only applies a single feather/vane at a time, it takes a little longer to complete an arrow than the units that place all three at once; however with repairs, this makes little difference. The index marks along the clamp also insure consistent placement of the feather or vane and Fletch-Tite cement doesn't bond to the clamp, releasing easily, allowing the feather/vane to set. I've fletched or repaired approximately three dozen aluminum and carbon arrows and have no complaints or suggestions how to make the Fletch III jig better. For the price, it was a great deal!"
