Great rod,March 25, 2008
By TNfishfrom Chattanooga, TN
"I was crappie fishing with the 8 ft rod, using 4 lbs test and light reel, and caught a 9 lbs, 25 inch catfish in the process. The rod was bent beyond the Ugly Stick commercials, and did a great job landing the catfish, along with a days limit of crappie. You can cast light lures a country mile, and it has the backbone to handle anything you can get to bite."

They don't come better than this,January 15, 2008
By kobun37from WA
"I have the 8 foot version, and this is the first rod I reach for when fishing for panfish or trout. It has spinning guides, and can cast a light bait or lure a long way. When used for vertical jigging, the sensativity on this rod is amazing! Even the lightest pickup feels like a jolt in the hand. You can almost feel the fish breathing on the hook.
The action on the rod is fairly fast, with most of the bend happening in the last 3 feet or so. It has just the right amount of backbone to set the hook firmly with a snap of the wrist and to keep crappies and bluegills from diving into cover. I have even caught channel catfish up to 10 pounds on this rod without it feeling underpowered.
I like this rod so much that I bought a second after the first one was accidentally slammed in a car door. Pick this one up, you won't regret it."

Best Jigging Rod On the Market,August 31, 2007
By Yeagermeistfrom Walleye Fisherman. Morgantown, WV
"This rod is sensitive enough to let you feel the minnow wiggling on the jig, and has the backbone to let you set the hook deep and hard. It is tough enough to handle any big fish as well as the little ones."

Great rod!!!!!,May 14, 2007
By BroncosBillfrom Raised in Colorado, have fished most of America.
"This rod is exactly what I was looking for. It has excellent feel for lure action when trolling, is ideal for jigging, and will cast a mile if you are using a lure from an anchored boat or off the shoreline. Well worth the money!!!"
