Not worth the money, February 20, 2009
By Frank21 from Ne

"I bought these for my pickup bed that is protected by a cover. They do not have the magnetic power to stay where they are placed, on bare metal on the bedsides. Everytime I open the tailgate the lights had fallen down, and were on the floor. They may work if you glue them to the sides, probably my next thing to try. Very disappointed, in quality and how they do not do what they are advertised to do."

Very poor product, November 20, 2008
By f150crew from Henderson, KY

"Magnets are not strong enough to hold on the bed sides and slid down and scratched the bed of my brand new truck and also had to replace the bulbs when I first took them out of the package."

Not What you'd expect, November 18, 2008
By pdxRog from Portland,OR

"Decent lights, I'll give them that, kinda like a flashlight, However the mounting system is horrible. I tried the magnet first. Not strong enough to hold the light without sliding let alone if you hit a bump in the road. Next I tried the velcro, the hook and loop part held fine, but the adhesive backing peeled off from the velcro part after a few days. Now I have 2 sticky spots in the inside of my truck bed. Maybe if you can put a screw or two in them they'll stay where you put them."

truck bed lights, August 11, 2008
By Anonymous from Sussex,wi frequent customer since about 1966

"The magnents are not strong enough. The lights slide right down the box while driving. The instructions say to put the switches on the bottom. Not a good idea as when the lights reached the bottom the swithes turned on and the batteries when dead after my 5 hr drive."

Wang's Truck Bed Lights, June 23, 2008
By GPD2 from Arkansas

"I bought two of these lights about four years ago. They have not performed well at all. One magnet came loose from the back of one light within several weeks. The bulbs on both lights became corroded and would not work. The bulbs are difficult to remove when needing to be changed, or to clean corrosion off them. I do not live near any salt water, and the lights are inside a pickup truck bed covered with a tight fitting fiberglass camper shell. I know of no reason why the bulbs should corrode as they did. I will not purchase them again."

Terrible buy, January 7, 2008
By btmyers from Louisville, KY

"I bought 4 of these lights and they are of virtually no use. They drain the batteries within minutes and the magnets are extremely underpowered. They won't even stick to my bed. They end of sliding around the first time I hit the brakes."

Wangs Truck Bed Lights, November 4, 2007

Worst lights ever, October 23, 2007
By firefighterlinn from Healy, KS

"I thought these lights looked like a great idea. Once I got them I was skeptic. My pickup has a Rhino Lining, and neither the magnet or the sticky strip would hold them up. I had to use Liquid Nails. When night came around I tried the lights out. To say I was dissapointed would be an understatement. The batteries fall out, the light is poor, and now i have this mess of liquid nails in my pickup. I will be ordering something new!"

Great for Boat Cockpit Lights, July 17, 2007
By BoaterBob from Connecticut Shore

"I used the Truck Bed Lights to replace old corroded cockpit courtesy lights in my boat and they look great and work fine. They are a snap to install (I simply glued the metal base plate for the magnets to the boat bulkhead) and the black plastic fits perfectly with the black trim in a white fiberglass boat. Check the size - They may be a little big for some boating applicaions but for my rig they fit in just like original equipment."

By Ross4 from Honeoye Falls, NY

flashlight works better..., May 1, 2007

"little disappointed in this product. Batteries show through the lens cover. Cheaply made, such as batteries terminals. I have to "tap" on the light to get it to work."

NOT WORTH THE MONEY, April 26, 2007
By KB89 from MONTGOMERY, AL.

"THE WANG TRUCK LIGHT WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT. ONE OF THE PAIR THAT I RECEIVED DID NOT WORK AT ALL. THE ONE THAT DID WORK DID NOT ILLUMINATE VERY MUCH LIGHT. THIS WAS NOT A TYPICAL CABELAS PURCHASE FOR ME. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD PRODUCT THAT I CAN REMEMBER BEFORE THIS ONE. I WILL STILL BUY FROM CABELAS BUT NOT ANY WANG PRODUCTS. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!"

Wang's Truck Bed Lights, January 1, 2007
By Rainman3006 from Baltimore, MD

"Mr. Wang needs to go back to the drawing board because this product is horrible! One, light won't stick to side of truck. Two, magnet on back of light isn't strong enough to hold light to truck bed metal. Third, light isn't bright enough to do anything in the dark. Only bright side of this product is that it's very durable. Wouldn't recommend to a friend. I should have listened to previous reviews. I hope my return goes smoothly."
