"I have found out that the clamp system is not as good as it could be. It will turn on the stand pipe and slide together and causes it to bind on the swing arm. If you pull the nuts almost to the breaking point it will stay put i think. I have been having trouble with this part of it. Every thing else is super and an excellence choice of frame. Construction is a snap and i had it up and running in about 15 minutes. Then i am very mechanical inclined. It did fit together very well i was really impressed."

"the frame looks great. I have not installed it yet. The instruction does not tell you the pipe size. 2' OD. pipe works out to be a 1 1/2 ID. pipe. You buy pipe by ID size I think."

"Hoist frame is great. It was easy to install. I installed on Rafter framing of barn using the Hoist parts as washers. Super easy and works great!
It would be great to be able to slide in and out Verses being stationary on the Frame."

"I was going to rig up a different frame for my hoist until I saw this one in the Cabela's catalog. I am glad I waited. This hoist frame is made of quality materials and works great. You may want to review the beam length however. It appears that you should not extend the hoist to the outer limits of the frame which means it does not extend as far as advertised. Not a problem for my hoist but it may be for others."
