"Very easy use and easy to install. I used a choker to hook it to a rafter in shed and works excellent. Need to watch the cable when load is not on hoist to make sure it reels correctly. I have used on a couple average size deer now with no issues. Very convenient while skinning and boning out."

"This hoist exceeded my expectations and works very well. I’ve used it to load heavy items in the back of my pickup and it worked great. It was smooth, fast and had plenty of power. I have not lifted more than 120 pounds at a time with it but it never slowed or even sounded like it had a load on it, even with a single cable. The remote allows me to stay away from the item being lifted, for safety. Great hoist."

"I am 71 years old and it was geting heard for me to hang deer.I putit up and it sure is adream to hang them know. Also I use it to skin them .No more hard trying to pull the hide down and pulling and cuting. Hook the chain on to the hide and floor and push the button and off it comes."

"Tightened a few bolts, Mounted this to a steel tube atop the beam in the garage, and plugged it in. Used gambrel in the hook, and raised a deer with barely budging my thumb. Works great. only downside... friends are going to start leaving their deer in my garage."

"I put this in the garage to use for hoisting up deer to skin them. It mounts high enough where it's out of the way, and with the mounting brackets I just put a pipe up there so I could mount it and take it down if I want.
Very convienent and you can't beat the price. Cabelas haad the lowest price out there by far."

"This hoist is exactly what I was looking for - able to be mounted to the ceiling in the garage and assist with the lifting of various item. Easy to use - did take a little figuring to get it mounted the way I wanted - but I bet that would have been true for whatever unit I purchased."

"only one thing I had to modify is had to cut the bracket clamps and drill holes so that hoist would be able to hook to 2x6 to be mointed. Winch is great and will help around house to help sharpen lawn mower bleades not to mention was great to hold up my deer for cleaning this yera."

Excellent product for deer camps,

"I previously bought one for my Dad's camp. It works much better than two guys hoisting up the deer while one person weighs the deer. You don't have the arguing of one person yelling " just a bit higher". This machine does it all. One person can hit a button and take care of it. Now that I bought my one camp, I chose to buy one of my own."

"Haven't tried it with a deer yet, but it lifts me easily (200 lb). I mounted it to a trolley on a piece of S steel (I beam) so I can transfer it between the hanging shed and my garage if I need to lift something out of the truck."

"The first Chain Hoist i received I had to return because of the inferior packing caused a broked part. I couldn't the part so I had to ship the Hoist back. When I got the replacement hoist it wasn't packed any better but it wasn't broken.
That said the Hoist seems to be just what I needed to raise those deer. It really worked well."
