Lake Rake Does What It Claims,August 11, 2008

"I have a one acre pond which has both top algae and bottom algae, especially along the banks. I used the rake on the bottom along the back and it works great. I did have to have an extension. With it you have to empty the rake once and then go back and get what is close to the bank. Again it works just as advertised."

"We have a pond about 1/3 acre in size. In warm weather, it routinely gets various water plants growing in the shallow water along the edges, sometimes in great profusion.
Besides using water from the pond, the plants create hiding places for snakes. The Midwest Lake Rake cuts and removes the water plants easily, and although they grow back, it takes several weeks. The long handle on the rake allows us to remove the vegetation without getting into the water, and our pond has never looked better."
