MSR XGK™ Expedition Stove

The stove of choice for use in extreme conditions and high altitudes, the XGK? Expedition is compact and boasts a high-output multifuel burner with attached retractable pot and base supports for increased stability. The stove and pump weigh just 14 oz., and it's highly durable. It uses white gas, kerosene, unleaded gas, diesel, aviation gas, JP-1 or Jet 1-A. Fuel sold separately. Fuel bottle sold separately - item #59-0564.

"Stove is fantastic. Lightweight, small, and burns almost any fuel. Would recommend to anyone. Was a bit disappointed in the way it was presented on Cabelas.com as there was no mention (anywhere) of it not coming with a fuel canister. For the price I was expecting a $20 tank to be included."

"This stove is great, I love the weight of this especially when packing in miles. I like the fact that it will run on anything and it truely does. The reason it gets 4 stars is for that fact that the directions are a bit confusing and I had to read them a few times before I even attempted it. Once I fired the stove up for the first time I was relieved at the ease of the operation. The only other thing about the stove is that it is hard to turn the stove down to like a simmer or a mdedium so cooking on it is a bit hard, but if you are like me and just use it to boil things you will not be disappointed"
