It looks good,August 11, 2008
By JKatfrom Texas
"Well, I haven't really used it yet. I loaded my Quigley Sharps into it and moved it into a closet. I have not had occasion to even take it to the range yet. But it looks good. It appears to be exactly what I wanted to protect my Sharps rifle from the elements."

Brain tanned look,July 15, 2008
By mulepg
"This sleeve is extremely well made and will serve me for a long time. The fringe is done better than any other sleeve I have seen that is commercially made. My only problem with it is cosmetic. The exterior should be slick finished. The soft napped side of the hide should be inside. I think it would shed water better and more resemble the original Brain tanned sleeves I have seen."

Natural Tanned Gun Sleeve,June 30, 2008
By Dirigofrom The woods of Maine
"When I first took it out of the package, I was disappointed. However, after sliding it over my Sharps and exposing it to some "natual coloration" (black powder and range dust), I like it even better. This product will only get softer and better looking with age."

Natural Tanned Gun Sleeve,April 1, 2008
By travelerj71from Mishawaka Indiana
"I should have bought the tan color or buck. On the good note I belong to the S.A.S.S. This is perfect for those single action competitions. It matches to a t the correct style of yesteryear. It protects my sharps 45-70 to be expected. I am pleased to own this."

Gun cover,December 13, 2006
By Downunderfrom California
"If you want an authentic gun cover for re-enactment from Danel Boon to Wiat Erp this is it. I put up the money and glad to have it cover a nice Marlin 45-70 Cowboy. It is too short for the Quigley Sharps but good for anything else you might want to protect in the field. Looks magnificent hooked in the crook of your arm, especially on top a horse. My favorite was Hipshot Percussion on his horse with his sharps laid across his lap overlooking the Grand Canyon covered with snow. All he said was "Thank you God". Made a great picture. Get one, you won't be sorry."
