Light but Strong,

"I ordered this Talley product after using the same type of mounts on my Browning A-bolt Titanium in 300wsm. The stay put after many shots with lots of recoil. Because they are aluminum, they are light weight but the design makes them very strong. My TC Omega with 150 grains of Triple 7 kicks like a mule but these mounts keep my Leupold NWTF Edition 2x7 muzzleloader scope locked to the gun. Talley rings and mounts are the best I have ever used and the film dipped camo lokks great as well. I will buy them for any new rifle."

"I mounted my Nikon scope on my new Thompson Center Truimph with the Talley base/rings. Everything worked just fine. The mount/rings are very sturdy and correct in proper dimension. The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is because I prefer a mount that can adjust for deflection. This is normally required if the rifle is not tapped for the mount perfectly straight. This was not necessary for this rifle."

"Perfect alignment and rock solid mounting. The only down side is the camo finish is brittle and will chip or flake unless you are careful, a common problem with dipped finishes. Functionally, this thing is perfect."

"I purchased a T/C Triumph a few weeks ago. I looked around for a base at Bass Pro with little to no help. I called cabelas after I found the Tally One Piece Base. A product expert assisted me with the purchase decision. When it arrived, I mounted the base and shot the first three shots threw my new muzzleloader at 50 yards. The shots were in a 1" group. I could not believe it. I did not bore sight the muzzleloader first and attribute these results to a good muzzleloader and great base!

"I installed the base and rings one piece set on my new T/C Arms Triumph. Installation was easy. The camo, while not an exact match to the stock of the Triumph, was at least compatable. I matched it with a nikon omega scope. Bore sighting was easy as it was close to perfect with the original installation. I've had it at the range, and I've fired several rounds through it. The base does not shift and neither does the scope it secures. It's lightweight (almost seeming insubstantial initially) and it does its job."

"mounted this talley one piece (medium) on my t/c encore pro hunter with a nikon omega. Ease of installment was great, However the eye relief is just fair with the scope pushed all the way toward the front of the gun. I feel this should have been improved since the gun and mount are made particulary for this gun and scope combination."

"The Talley 1 pc ring and base are easy to install, they look great. Mounting scope and bore sighting was a sinch. They hold postioin though sighting in. I haven't had any problems yet."

"This is a very well made/designed scope mount.
Nice CAMO pattern and fits the Thompson TRIUMPH perfect.
This mount comes in three different heights. Low,Medium, and High. If your putting it on the Thompson Triumph be sure to get the MEDIUM as the low is too low and you can't cock the hammer.

Ruined gun season,

"Cheap screws! If you plan on a hunting trip, go to a hardware store and try to find better screws before you go. My trip was ruined when I fell, my gun hit the ground(not even that hard) and all the screw heads snapped off and my $300.00 scope and mount went rolling 50 yards down a hill. Odd size screws, good luck finding ones that fit. Other than that the mount looks great on my Omega .50 Cal. I got the High mount and my scope covers just make it on."

"I put this base on my TC Omega. I had two problems with it. First the screws were to long or my gun wasn't drilled and tapped deep enough. I had to file the screws down to get a tight fit. Second, the eye relief on my Nikon Omega became a problem. With this mount I cannot move the scope far enough forward, which makes shooting prone impossible.
The product seems to be of good quality, it just doesn't work for my gun/scope combination."
