"I just got a Benelli super black eagle ll and the pattern centers about 6" high. Benelli tech support said that this is within their standards and that most European shotguns are designed to shoot high. My only soluting was to raise the front bead and this HiViz Magnetic sight did the trick. It just sticks on without any modification to the gun. I tried some 3" shells and the sight sticks tight. Since the sight sits on top of the rib it raised the front bead about 1/8" and the HiViz bead is large. Now my pattern is centered with the bead. I have not missed a duck since. This is a great possible solution for a gun that does not pattern where aimed."

"I read all the reviews before buying this sight, and since I was mounting this sight on a 3 1/2 " 12 ga. I spot glued the sight front and back to be sure it would stay on the gun. This was probably overkill. A good silicone would have been a better choice. The sight is more visible than I expected. It did what I wanted on my waterfowl hunt and I am totally satisfied. The magnets would have probably held it in place, but I wanted to make sure it didn't come off. Good price, great service."

I got this sight for my Remington 870 in the Xtra Narrow size, but it was too small, so Cabela's awesome customer service exchanged it for the Narrow and it fit like a glove. "I installed the sight on a Charles Daily Auto Pointer shotgun and was quite pleased with the ease of installation and when they say HiViz it lives up to it's name. I don't know if the fact that this shotgun is recoil opperated or not but after the second shot I spent quite a bit of time looking for the sight in the grass (I used the day glow green insert) I will reinstall the sight on the gun and will make shure it wont come off again. These sights are incredable for the ability to pick up even the smallest amoun of light."

"Well, I took it out of the package and snapped it on in literally 20 seconds behind the factory metal bead sight.
Went out to the Skeet and Trap range with a group of friends and time after time everyone picked my regular 870 express over the 870 Super Mag's stock (small) neon front sight. After light rain, 125 target load 2-3/4shells, and passing hands 40 different times to take turns... this thing is a winner. It is sturdy, grabs on and holds on, and improved my draw time.
The green sight is super bright, almost too distracting when shooting clay pidgeons... I said "almost" :) Maybe I'll try it with the red sight also.
One note for hunters, I could see this site coming off if hit against a rock or large branch, but a thick bush could not get this thing off. It uses 3 strong rare earth magnets and has flaps to guard against any leaves getting in and wedging it loose. Also on the upside, it is only "Hi-Viz" from the rear, and not the front. Meaning, you don't have to worry about game spotting your neon sights because it works one way, and the factory metal bead it sits behind blocks any indication. I'd definitely buy this again."

"I am not sure what other people are shooting to get these sight to come off or what the rib is covered with to not allow the magnets to get a good magnetic hold. I just shot over three boxes of 12 gauge 2 3/4" shot, shooting skeet, and the sight didn't even budge. I have yet to shoot any 3 1/2" getting after some ducks but I'm sure the outcome will be the same. Just ordered two more, one for the wifes 20 gauge Beneli and a spare incase I do loose one during some unfortunate event. And after the friends saw the size and the amount of light generated, they are after the same one."

"I have 2 of these. The magnets only adhere if your gun's vented rib is metal. If it is the magnets hold well enough to keep it from moving. If not, a bit if silicon adhesive is needed. To test beforehand simply put a magnet on your vented rib and see if it holds. If so, your sight will hold fine, if a magnet doesn't hold, then this sight won't stay on without help and you may want to choose something different. Once on there tight, it helps a great deal with bringing your muzzle in line with the clay when trap shooting. All in all, I would reccomend it."
