"I dropped the receiver and barrel in to position about 2 minutes after taking the old stock off. It fit perfectly. It is snug and the folding stock is very stable without being loose at all. I love it."

"Better fit and finish than the original stock.
I bought a new stainless 10/22 with the intent of building an all weather, drug thru the mud 22. I was very pleased to find this folding stock in stainless as well. I've built me gun to hang on my back-pack for days on end. I was skeptical about the hinge section. It had to be sturdy/ridged or I would go back to the factory stock. It is very sturdy. And when this thing is folded, the pictures cannot do it justice. This is the sexiest 22 on the planet with a simple scope and a banana magazine. Hugely satisfied."

"The fit, finish and over all quality were more than I expected. The installation was drop in with no modification to stock or weapon. There is some very miner play in the stock when extended but it's not a problem for general use or plinking. Don't expect it to be a target stock though. This stock makes the 10/22 very compact and portable. Exactly what I was looking for."

"This is a Drop-in stock that anyone can do in 10 Minutes. Mine fit perfect! You must place the safety half way between left & right side, It will drop right in! The folding mechanism is built like a tank! You can even modify the barrel chanel to fit Bull Barrels (Sandpaper wraped Dowel) By FAR the best folding stocks made for 10/22!"

10/22 folding stock,

"This product has a problem with the folding mechanism.
It folds fine but when it is in the open shooting position it is very loose & unstable
The slot where it meets seems to be cut too wide.
I have a identical stock 10+ years old and it is rock solid, much better then the new one.
If Butler Creek would fix this issue then I would give it 5 stars however the way it is now makes this a very unstable shooting platform."

"The stock fit beautifully on my 10/22 carbine. Fit and finish of the parts is great. I was wondering if the folding mechanism would wobble or wear out over time, but neither seems to be a problem. The vinyl tubing on the top bar is a nice touch to make the stock more comfortable on a cold day.
Over all, I'd definitely say it was well worth the extra money over other models available."

"This is one of the better folding stocks Ive came across. Second only to millitary folding stocks and better than any other aftermarket stock Ive seen on any gun. If stock wobbles up and down(like mine did) just remove the allen head bolt that fits on the bushing, add some loctite and tighten it real tight-its metal and can be tightened more than the factory does. I did that to mine and left it locked open overnight and 99% of up and down movement has gone and it hasnt loosened up after dozens of open shut checks. Factory couldve of used a bushing a hair larger and it realy would have been rock solid but im very picky( about my guns) and am very satisfied. The stock is durable,ergonomic and attractive. Best $$ spent on my 10/22."

"My second Butler Creek folder. These are very high quality with a nice finish, quality rubber butt pad, and an extremely tight, jiggle-free locking mechanism. Length of pull is the same as the factory stock."
