"This holster will last a life time. Beautiful custom made like styling, which shall stand the test of time. However, although it is listed as lined, it more accurately should be described as multi layered leather. I wanted a liner that would be soft to protect my Colt New Frontier in 45 Colt (also bought from Cabela's), yet the inner layer seems no different in softness as the outer holster surface. I guess time will tell if my beautiful and very expensive Colt SAA remains scratchless. Otherwise I can recommend both this holster (5 stars if you are a John Wayne fan) and Cabela's speedy service."

"I bought this strongside holster for cowboy mounted shooting for one of my .45 long colts. I looked at several holsters and even thought about having one custom made until I found this one. Love the two tone look. This holster is very heavy duty. Thick leather and strong. Molds to your gun if you let it sit in the holster a bit. Glad I orderd this one!!! Worth the $$$ as you get what you pay for. Very quick shippment also. A+++"
