"I am one that can not wear or come in contact with wool. I was given a pair of socks at a Cabela's store when I asked what they had that was not Wool. I did not like the two sock methods. I tried these socks on warm and cold days antelope hunting and a cold and damp goose hunt days. What a GREAT Sock. They keep your feet warm and dry. Even if your feet sweat they come out great feeling. Not the wet clam feeling you get from cotton. They also let your boot breath so the moisture does not remain in the boot. The fit is great and supportive. You do not get the falling down of the sock when moving over a long days hunt. The sock has great padding to help your feet absorb the impact for walking and running. Your walking is like a feeling of a soft glove. And the fit, is fitted in the middle of your foot, so you do not have this bulky feel in your boot. After about 12 washes they are still going strong. I liked this sock so much that a bought a large supply of socks. Not just once but two large orders and will be ordering again. I also gave some to friends to try with the same results. You can not go wrong with these socks, for I wish they had these in a black sock color so I could wear them as a dress sock to work."

"The socks are wonderful, warm, and comfortable. However, I ordered three pairs and one of the pairs consisted of socks of two different sizes. I ordered two pairs of womens and one mens and one of the womens had one big sock and one little sock. Other then that the socks are great, they fit and help keep your feet from getting tired when walking alot."

"I am an avid upland bird hunter and have always hunted in just plain cotton socks. I had a friend tell me about the CoolMax socks and how he liked them. I tried the socks and wouldnt go in the field without them. They do a great job keeping the moisture wicked away from your feet which makes for a better day and warmer feet on those chilly days. I have worn the socks on Elk hunting trips in Colorado and usually after a half day covering ground you would want a spare pair. I would highly recommend the socks."

"Great all purpose hiking socks but for me they also double as motorcycle boot socks. I wear leather boots that I treat to make waterproof. They can be warm especially with conventional boot socks but with these socks are very comfortable. Id definitely recomment them for all warm weather boot sock purposes."

"These socks have performed well in moderate temperatures and humidity so far. They have pretty tight elastic on the ankle portion of the socks. I probably would NOT recommend these socks to someone who has circulation problems. The tight elastic may restrict blood flow. I like the color choices. Too bad the khakie colored ones are on backorder."

IT WAS 26 DEGREES THAT DAY AND MY FEET STAYED WARM ALL DAY LONG. I WORE WITH THE FUR LINED COLUMBIA CLOGS I GOT AT YOUR STORE. I RECOMMEND THEM , AND GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING ALSO. I CANNOT GO WITHOUT THESE SOCKS ON EVERY DAY. THEY STAY UP AND FIT YOUR FOOT PURFECT! FOR AS WARM AS THEY ARE THEY ARE NOT TO HEAVEY TO WEAR WITH ANY KIND OF SHOE AND STAY UP IN BOOTS ALSO.
