"This is a great upgrade to Mec's old feed system. Like any Mec product it works great. But again like any Mec product be prepared to "tweak" it a bit for perfect function. All adjustments till perfect feeds took about an hour. I would recommend to a friend."

"I recently installed one of these on my 20 Gauge MEC 9000G. It took less than 10 minutes, and there was only one simple adjustment to make once mounted. I then loaded 200 shells without a single misfeed or other primer "error". In the next batch I had one case of a primer that did not land straight and it rode the carrier past the priming station, but it was easily caught and fixed. A nearly perfect run.
I have three 9000G's and this one has seen the most use. While the other two drop primers fairly well, this one had gotten so bad that I thought it was time to replace the entire primer mechanism. The original primer feed was so bad you had to do something on every feed to make sure it dropped, like tap the swing arm or move it up or down a bit. Changing the spring and chain sets did not improve it for long if at all. Adjusting the height and angle was a waste of time as the locking was not at all positive and the tray would move out eventually.
This works so well that I will replace the other two primer feeds (on my 28 and 410) ASAP. I will not wait for them to get that bad after seeing how well this works. Do not hesitate to try this one!"

"I recently purchased this item and found it to be a vast improvement over the old style. The primers feed more positively and the loading of the tray is greatly simplified. Stopping the feed is also easier. You do not have to detach a chain, simply turn a knob and level the tray."
