"I only casted it out in my local river to check the action. I haven't used it in heavy turtle grass, which is where I plan on trying it.
The action is different than any other lure. You can tell it acts like a spoon with a soft plastic on it, it looks a lot bigger than what I expected.
Looking forward to using it where it's intended but like I said the action looks like it will work well in heavy grass."

"I had a 1/8 oz blade dancer "bleeding minnow" in the past but lost it on a snag, not having caught any fish. I did like its action, so I recently picked up another one and a 1/4 oz lure in the Firetiger color. I had a chance to try it out in a nearby pond the other night and caught several bass, including a 6 3/4 pound fish! I also caught a 9" bluegill that just slammed the 1/4 oz lure. Two of the soft plastic minnows had their tails bit off by bluegill, so I am down to one. However, I used a chartreuse Gulp! 3" minnow instead and it worked just as well."

"to sum this bait up cult a crappie the first cast with the 1/16 oz head and the action never stopped till it was time to go. the only downfall with the small minnow bodies with the twister tails was that the fish were biting them off."

"The lure caught bass,and pike. The eyes do not stay in the lure once you get a large strike. This is a poor design.Some one should let them know the have a major problem with the eyes staying in the lure. It catchs fish until it goes blind."

"I found crappie love this lure. We used them to work around some docks on a local lake .....the end result was the fish hammered this lure with a vengence. Good sized crappie and even a few large blue gill took this bait. Worth the high price!"

"I bought a couple packages of these and did like the results and did catch some fish on these. Now the problem I fish a river for Smallmouth and Saugeyes so snags are common ,and since it comes with only one hook and 3 or 4 bodies depending on size you can have alot of money tied up in these. I even sent several e-mails to berkley to possibly purchase blades only or if plans were in the makes to offer an extra hook but haven't heard back for bout 3 mos now. Not worth the money to me"

"I live in Antigonish Novascotia, and me and my friend use these blade dancers to catch trout under the ice. They work great close to the shore by jigging them up quick and letting them swim back down to the bottem. we caught more fish by taking off the regular bodies and putting on small yellow tubes, or even power bait nuggets."

"The jig-blade head is perfect for working over grass tops and gives a slow wobbling action. I would like to see the hardware sold separately (without the minnow bodies) as I prefer to use the "Berkely Gulp" minnows and usually just toss the ones that come with it.
