"It worked fine. At first I was stumped at the diameter of the reel seat to the cork grip. Because they are approx. same diameter, the reel seat has to butt the grip rather than recessing in it. It looks strange that way since the upper ring is usually not seen. You have to ensure you have a good arbor or tape wrap on the rod for solid support for the seat though. I like it now that it is inplace and finished."
