"I bought a model AMSP843-2 spinning blank. The first time I used it,I was fishing an 1/8 ounce jig in 9 feet of water. When I set the hook on a 10 inch walleye, the bottom blank snapped, 7 inches below where the 2 pieces go together. DO NOT BY THESE BLANKS"

"My father-in-law built this rod for me in the 6'6'' length and there isnt a conplaint i have. it has great action, and it looks awesome. Everyone the fishes with me or around me remarks on the color and the feel... i am building this same blank in the 9'6'' and i cant wait to take it salmon/steelhead."
