"Bought the Dry-Plus Ultra parka and matching pants for an early fall fishing trip in Canada. Good thing I did...I needed it! This light weight rain gear kept me perfectly dry during frequent rain showers without causing overheating. It was great. I do suggest ordering one size larger than normal to accommodate additional clothing layers in cooler weather. I ordered my normal size and, when sitting in a boat, the coverage in the back was marginal. Still, at the price, it was a great value!"

"I purchased this parka for fishing in Alaska this summer on the Kenai River, near Soldotna. I was not let down. I was dry, even after a whole day fishing in the rain and wind. My only recommendation would be to add some elastic in the cuffs. Other than that, it is a great rain parka. By the way, the pants that go with this jacket were just as great."

"Great jacket . Some concern that it would be hot and clammy as it has no inner mesh. The Dry-Plus material sits next to whatever you are wearing underneath. Spent several days in Northern Saskatchewan on the water in wind and rain and this jacket performed to the usual cabela's high standard. Hood is a bit large neccessitating you wear a cap with the hood over it, but no big deal. Comes in a very handy packing sack."

"I purchased this parka to replace an existing well worn parka. This garment lacks any lining so you are in contact with the dry plus liner and it feels clammy. My old parka also had a dry plus membrane but with a mesh liner and felt great. So, this one is going back."

"I found the jacket to be very lightweight and it folds up to almost nothing when you pack it. I put mine in my fishing vest for those unexpected showers while by the stream. I like the slightly longer length of the parka style since it is long enough to keep the old "backside" dry too and the hood is very handy and large enough to be very comfortable."
