"As the name implies, Grave Diggers are bass killers. I’ve tried several patterns for large mouth and smallies in many Northern Idaho lakes and have cleaned up. When spinner baits and other cranks are not producing, I throw one of these on and am guaranteed to get them attacking. Work equally well for Pike here and in Northern Minnesota."

"These little crankbaits are crappie catching machines, among many other species. In the hot summer months I many pull crankbaits, and these lure produce. The only downside is the paint chips up pretty easily on them."

"Good and bad of it... great lure with great action... however I had two hook failure in ten fish... not sure where failure was but the hooks were missing. Two other hooks were damaged during fights with other fish. All in all a great lure, but I am replacing the hooks with Gamakatsu trebles."

"This is an awesome crankbait. A friend gave it to me and when I tyed it on for the first time, very first troll I reeled in a 23 inch walleye which is good for the Mississippi at the end of July. 2 trolls later I hooked a log...that was swimming. Reeled him in and had a walleye on the end of my line that weighed almost 8 pounds and was 29 inches long. Now I know, that don't sound that big but remember, it was the last week in July. Got in to the dock and a big walleye fisherman was there and we showed him what we caught him on and he said "That's a bass lure" my dad said "tell the fish that, they aren't gonna say oops, thats a bass lure don't bite it" This really is a versatile lure. P.S. it was pearl white that we were using and we mounted the fish, we didn't eat it"

"I love this bait. It is awesome. I landed 2 30" plus Tiger Musky on this in an hour.....until the bill broke during a headshake in the net. I wish they could remedy this. These are great baits for the price. That and it seems they did away with the Hot Bass color which was my top producer of the series."

"the only drawback to the grave digger is the limited number of colors available. i hope that cabelas exspands the color ranges and i will not have to buy bandit 300s anymore. both crankbaits work equally for crappie."
