"wow. i was out on the lake and getting nothing on topwater. i put one of these on and with in a half hour i has 6 bass and 2 pickerel in the boat. i had never used this bait before but i am going to need to try it more often."

"I like these poppers cause they are 1/16 oz vs most other poppers this sixze that are 1/8 oz. I mainly use them as an attractant to my jig head I have tied to the back of the popper. Since it is 1/16 oz my jig wont pull it down and it stays floating enough that I don't have to constantly keep it moving like the 1/8 poppers I had been using which would sink.
As far as using it by it's self it works as good as any other popper. I do like the hooks and the oval split ring that came on the last 2 that I ordered,much better hardware then the previous one I used."

"the Chartreuse Orange Tiger popper in 2" is great for bass with ultra light equipment but the paint starts to chip off after it has cought about 20 fish after the paint chips off they cant see it as good so you wont catch as many this would be a five star review if the paint stayed on it

"This is a great product when used correctly. Pestered small mouth at the river and bothered largemouth on the pond in still conditions and even hooked trout. Markings on the lure were as good as any other brand and the hooks were top quality equipment. And for the price there is no reason any tackle box should be without an assortment of this product. will be purchasing whenever I need to restock."

"I bought this lure before I went up to my cabin last summer. I tied on this lure { the blue gill color } at dawn and had some nice hits. The next morning I woke up early and trolled along the shore line like I usually do and caught a few bass and panfish. That night I went out and was casting over some weed beds when I got a big hit. It didnt hit it good so i didnt get it. A few cast later the same fish hit again and i had it on. It dove down to the weeds and got snagged and got off. A few more cast later it hit it again and I hat it hooked good but after along fight it got into the weeds and got off again. It had to be 5 pounds or more. In the end this is a fantastic lure. One improvement could be that Cabelas should add some featers to the rear hook."

"I got lots of little followers on the bass color, but only 1 hit.
The bait seems to lack a clencher, like a featherd tail. Mite work better in stained water.
Practice catch & release."

"Great color (Smoke) and great action. The size is perfect to land small mouths and guadalupes but the treble hooks are weak. I would never use the ones that come with the lure. They straighten out way to easy."

"I took this lure to the banks of the big OHIO and what a decision it was. 1st cast produced a 2.5 lb small mouth. The following 30 mins in the same spot was the moment that keeps people coming back. 3 of us caught 14 kentucky's, large mouth, & small mouth. 1 of the 3 was a 6 year old. The biggest problem i had was getting the fish off the lure to go after more. Highly has my recomm.endation"
