"After purchasing the unit with both depth and temperature gauge I could not be happier. This unit is compact enough to fit in your existing dash on almost any boat. Installation was a breeze. The functionality of the unit is something you can expect from big units you would purchase. Accuracy is great. Even the back light on the gauge is nice on warm summer evenings to view the data. Nice job Lowrance."

"Works great, and was easy to install. Installed the unit with a switch, so power is cut-off from gauge. If not it will always stay on, and draw a current.
Only thing i wish they would of changed is when you cut the power to the unit, it wont reset the time clock, or made a on/off switch. But other than that, its another great product from Lowrance."

"Seems to be a great gauge. After installing it per the instructions it operates perfectly. Numbers are large & with the available backlight & contrast adjustments the readings can be made easy to see regardless of surrrounding light conditions. Being able to alternate readings between depth only, temp. only, or a combination of both at the same time is another nice feature. Wholeheartedly recommend this product."

"I have been pleased with the performance of the of the temp guage. I really like the volt guage feature. The clock on the other hand will not keep the current time if you have this wired thru your main power switch. It will reset to 12:00 each time you cut the main power. Other than that a very good product. I would recommend this product."

"The LST-3800 is very easy to install. The menu driven setup is simple and easy. Display has large easy to see readouts and little or no glare. The aquire time for depth is very rapid and maintains well at cruise. I recommend this product without any reservations"
