"This bracket is rock solid and easy to put on. When the trolling motor is not on the boat, the bracket is small, and almost un noticeable. The edges are also round and smooth so you will not cut yourself if you or your kids are around it while the motor is off your boat."

"Has a small foot print for mounting the big Minn-Kota's on the bow of your small nosed bass boat. Excellent choice. Makes putting on and removal of the trolling motor very easy.
It could come with better directions on how to mount the base to the Minn-Kota trolling motor. The obvious mounting holes are incorrect and the ones you can't see are the ones you need to use.
Overall outstanding."

"It's a wonderful thing when you can dismount your trolling motor in a flash and all that's left on the boat is a smooth bump a little bigger than a deck of cards, and the bottom of the motor wont scratch up anything."

"The bracket doesn't cover the entire botton of the trolling motor base. The pins also don't seem durable. The two pins are held togeather by plastic (just waiting for that to break). Pins bould be thicker in diameter and one piece. Looks bad on the boat."

"Unfortunately, I had to return the item. I would have had to redrill all new holes on my boat to make it work properly. I was not willing to do that, since my boat is new. But the item if starting out with new mounting and new holes would be the absolute way to go. I'm sorry I was not able to use it."

"This is a very functional, smooth quick release for the Minn Kota trolling motor. It was fairly easy to install though I had to shim a bit and bore out the mounting plate latch holes 1/64th of an inch to make the release smooth. My mounting surface on the boat was minutely concave. I would highly recommend this if you need to remove the trolling motor for boat storage."

"I already had one and purchased this one only because I wanted the "hockey puck" that attaches to the boat. The reason I needed two hockey pucks is so I could choose whether to attach the motor to the front of the boat to troll and to the back of the boat to load the boat on an "electric only" lake. I'd have given it an "excellent++++" rating if extra hockey pucks were available for purchase."

"I agree with previous reviews, the mounting adapter should be included. Or at a minimum mount a piece of starboard first. Product is solid and allows for a one person setting the motor and taking the motor off the boat. Installation was minimal."

"I installed this bracket with ease in approximately 15 minutes from start to finish. (Including drilling for my obscure application) Onto my 55 Lb. Thrust V2 Bow Mount Minn Kota. (2008) (With Co- Pilot)
The motor mounts securely, and can be locked for security if you desire too.
Once installed you can mount and remove the motor in under 30 seconds.
I havent found anything negative reguarding this product."

"The quick release bracket was a little bit hard to install even with the cardboard cutout they give you. Needed to buy extra screws cause the ones that was supplied stipped easy. In over all use of it it does work well when wanting to remove your trolling motor."

"The product is great for taking my trolling motor on and off. No more bolting or unbolting the trolling motor. The only problem I have had was the plastic on the pin broke the first time I put the trolling motor on. Still works, instead of one pin I now have two."

"works great on an 18-5 scout make sure to purchase toggle bolts if you cannot access the underside to put the nuts on the bolts. I can take the trolling motor off the boat in about 5 seconds!"
