"i have used these before..... but i have started to use the scum frog and it works better.... this has landed me fish but not nearly as many as the scum frig me and my buddy went out fishing for 9 hours one day didnt catch a darn thing on these but then when we switched up to the scum frog.... things went wild.... we caught 47 bass in like 7 hours... these lures are great for wake but if your looking for a top water al together..... go with a scum frog"

Great Slop Bait,April 4, 2009

"I have been using this bait for bass in the slop for 15 years. Many of my personal best Largemouth Bass have came on this lure. I have caught a number of 5+pound Largemouth and some decent size Northerns on this bait. I have put a trailer hook on this bait. Sometimes it doesn't come through the slop as easy as one hook, but it has also enhanced it's hooking ability."

"The Moss Boss is an awesome lure for throwing in the slop.I have added some lead to a couple I own to get down in the weeds farther.Pike strike this lure a lot. But they don't get hooked 60% of the time.This is a go to lure when the fish are deep in the slop.I had a medium size musky on , but had no leader.Needless to say.......I lost the fish and the Moss Boss."

"This lure works great in the water. I've used it in weed infested waters and lilly pad ponds without getting caunght up or snagging weeds. The action is good, and variable...depending on how you work your rod."
