"Without a doubt these are the best straight shank worm hooks on the market. Even though they are cheaper than many others, they are THE BEST. They are extreamly sharp and strong. I have used them for several years and will never go back to any other straight shank hook."

"Don't let my secret out but these hooks are used when I drop shot for those big smallies on Lake Erie and Lake Champlain. The larger bite hooks the smallies solid in the roof of their mouths and holds right up into the boat. You won't be crying the blues over lost fish any more...! Swing em in...!"

"I use this hook exclusively for finesse fishing, but for big bass. I use name-brand equipment, but for the ultimate hooking power, Gamakatsu round bend worm hooks are the superior product. Due to the quality construction, very little "hook-set" is required, even on bass up to 12 lbs., (my biggest, so far). I have tried all the major brands thoroughly, but none of them are near the unerring "catchability" of Gamakatsu."
