"The first time wearing my bugskins was to a known chigger infested field to access a fishing pond. I've always gotten chiggers from there until I went with my bugskins. I caught alot of fish but no chiggers. Thanks a million."

"Bugproof pants? I grew up in Northern Michigan, and I would never have dreamed something like this would ever be needed. But, if you live in the same area as ticks, and chiggers, you need these babies. I check game cameras ever week all year long, and would'nt dream of being in the woods without these on. You can walk thru the nastiest looking brush and undergrowth known to man, and come out chigger free. Ever have chiggers? Nuff said!! Nasty little buggers. And ticks make me sick, so without these, I would have to stay home. Do I go cut wood in these at noon when its 100 degrees with 95% humidity? Lord no!!! They are hot! If you get the camo ones, you can wear them as is for early season hunting. I wear shorts over the pants though, cuz they don't leave alot to the imagination cuz they are so tight. ( I'm even modest when sitting in a tree stand) NO, they don't work for skeeters, but they are what they are..good for ticks and chiggers. Great service, and product from Cabelas!"

"I purchase the bugproof pants and bugproof Mock T for spring turkey hunting in Virginia. The area was noted for ticks and other bugs during the spring.I was not bitten by any ticks or another bug while wearing the pants and Mock T. The pants and Mock T is very comfortable and you do not even feel you have them on. They do not cause you to sweat or hinder your movement when hunting. I highly recommend this type of clothing when spring hunting in an area noted for ticks and other bugs."

"They do not work for chiggers. I wore the whole suit - Long Sleeve Top, gloves, long johns, socks. Got eaten alive. Worse case of Chiggers I ever had.
Never again.
This is the only problem I have ever had with Cabelas."

"Worn with the mock-t the Bug Skinz pants have keep all bugs off me. It fits well and is comfortable. It helps to wick moisture away but can get hot going to your stand in early bow season. I am very pleased with the product and have wore it on every hunt since I got it."

"Went out to cut some shooting lanes in July and came home with around 200 Chigger bites on my legs. Immediately ordered these hoping that wouldn't happen again. Went out yesterday to put up my stands and came home to find around 20 bites. Not sure if the pants kept more bites from happening or if I just didn't run into as many bugs."
"Worked very well in keeping ticks off my body. I did receive chigger bites around my ankles because the elastic band was not tight enough. I will place rubber bands around my ankles when I use them again. They are definitely worth wearing whenever you want to eliminate or reduce bites from turkey mites, ticks, and chiggers."

"Well thought out garment. Tight fitting and I won't have to make that one evil movement that will loose my shot. No bugs allowed."
"I only gave these pants a 3 rating. They did perform as advertised, no bugs, in the field. After about 3 washings the stitching started to come out and had to be repaired. If you want bug protection these pants will help to provide, but you must be very careful with them as they are delicate. Not necessarily a good combination for most hunters I know."
