"Although my wife and I do some clay bird shooting, this half vest was purchased with a blackpowder shoot in mind.
There are enough divided pockets for everything you need for a day of blackpowder shooting without reaching for your range bag after each shot."

"Nice vest-comfortable and ergonomically suited. However the adjusting strap does not stay where you cinched it to as good as it should. But I did a stitch it in place, and I really do like it. I'd recommend it!"

"Much more comfortabel to wear in the warm months. Pockets are ample sized and product appears to be well made.
I wish the vest was adjustable so either my son or I could wear it. I also wish the back pocket had a zipper on the bottom to ease the removal of hulls. For the price point, a good deal."

"Purchased this Cabelas TargetMaster 1/2 vest for sporting clays and skeet shooting. Just as other reviewers have stated, the construction seems a bit flimsy. I don't know how long it will hold up. And it's a bit awkward putting empty shells into the back pocket, because it doesn't open easily.
That said, the vest has proven very useful for hot weather shooting. I think Cabelas has a real winner here, if they would make it more rugged, and open up the rear vest a bit."

"Summertime shooting in SC can awfully hot and this product allows me to dress lightly and still carry two full boxes of shotgun shells, a bottle of water and still has pockets left for other small items.
The heavy canvas belt is very comfortable and never slips, even with the weight in the pouches."

"This is just what I was looking for for shooting sporting clays. Has all the pockets bags you need for glasses, ear plugs, shells, empty hulls and a bottle or two of water. The only disappointment is in the quality of the product. Would have been nice if they had made it out of a heavier cloth, cordura for instance, and the stitching is pretty poor quality. I don't think it will last very long with regular use."

"This item was just what I was looking for and so far, it works great. I agree with other reviewers, it would be nice to have zippers at the bottom of the hull compartment, but I do not find that to be a big deal. I would recommend this item, in fact, I'm thinking of buying another one."
