"THE ROASTER WAS BROKEN WHEN I RECEIVED IT. I WAS DISAPOINTED IN THE THICKNESS OF THE ROASTER. IT WAS MUCH THINNER THAN I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED. THAT'S PROBABLEY WHY IT BROKE. THE LID, WHICH DOUBLED AS A GRILL PAN SEEMED TO BE MUCH HEAVIER. I SENT IT BACK AND DID NOT REORDER IT. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND CURTIOUS. I WOULD PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN."

"The day I got my roaster , I put it to use. and had many, many great comments about the roast it produced.. Its kinda heavy but it does stay in place when you have to move stuff around. Nothing stuck to it and it was easy to clean.. We love it!!!"

"this has been the very best kitchen skillet i have ever purchased. it is very heavy and very good quality made. it is wonderful, i can deep fry and bake and also turn the lid over and use it as well to cook things on, it is a very excellent product. would highly recommend to someone, well worth your money you spend on it."

"Cast iron cookware is very sturdy as we all know...This roaster pan is that and much much more...The lid triples as a lid, a griddle, and a warming tray if put upside down on the pan...I found if you boil water in the pan the lid is a perfect warming tray...You will not be disappointed..."

"As stated - this thing is huge. Almost too big for what I wanted it for, however, I found that it will hold a 12# brisket, and cook it too perfection. I would give it 5 stars, however, the way the handles are designed, it's difficult to lift the lid/skillet off of the lower portion. If they had offset them a little, or bent the handles down on the lower portion and up on the skillet, it would be easier to lift the lid. Otherwise - very nice to cook in - just plan on cooking a lot!"

"The only cast iron cookware I ever used before we bought this was a skillet. I wasn't too sure we would use this - it is heavy for tent camping and would take up too much room in the camper. Once I baked a chicken, I was hooked! It is great for baking, stews, even baking bread. We are buying an extra for the camper -- I use the first one in the house a couple times a week."
