Fulton Winches,April 23, 2009

"An excellent winch. One small criticsm the flange on the back of the large gear has a sharp edge-this could fray the web strap if the boat was misaligned. I trimmed the edge with a file a.o.k."

"This is a great winch, looks fantastic on the trailer. Don't know if the plastic covers are worth the extra money though. Fitted really easily."

"i originally got my winch to haul things up onto the back of my chevy pickup ,but the arm goes all the way around so mounting on a flat deck behind my back window was not recommended and i have other things i can use for that application however i found a left over piece of 2" stock and nearly a foot long useing a small retractable tweezers 2 bolts washers and nuts around 1/4"by 3/4"and i have a front 2" receiver coming also to plug into either and sometimes i,m called upon to unstuck snow bound cars my mechanic neibhor loved the idea but with a 1400lb limit but i also have other more cumbersom backups up towards 9000lbs still i have 100% satisfaction i might not need my 9000 as often"
