"These baits are too stiff to work at a slow steady retrieve. I was using the 3 inch model. If they don't work when retrieved slowly, then they are no good to me...mine are in the give away pile now."

"So far with these swim baits I have caught walleyes, bass, and even some monster crappies. I definitely recommend this product being that the fish do hold on 18 times longer being able for you to get those hook sets in even when you are day dreaming about that other monster you just caught! Anyways it’s a great product and I definitely recommend these baits."

"I like these baits ,they cast really really good , swim good and i found they have a good weight to my liking . Caught a 38 inch Pike 3rd cast . Bluegill worked on that pike but i have yet to catch anything else on these. For the price ,pick up a package and cast a line ."

"I bought a package of the swimbaits before leaving for Lake Amistad, Tx. Fishing was fairly tough the second morning so I tied one on and caught an eight pound largemouth on the second cast. Only complaint is that some are unbalanced and don't swim straight. Great bait. Will be using more in the future."

"These baits look good, they seem like they would kill fish....BUT THEY DONT! I have used these just about everywhere in every condition and multiple retrieve actions and i have never caught one fish on them. They are really heavy though, which is nice for covering alot of water, no sense in tieing them on anymore."

"I have used the power swim shads for a few years now. after watching Doug Stange on IN-FISHERMAN, I ordered some and have never been sorry. I use them with an Owner jighead for walleye and i use them as trailers on JMac Musky jigs for muskies. If you haven't seen it, you wouldn't believe how hard walleyes hit these things and how deeply they inhale them. Perhaps someday, Berkley will offer them in freshwater color patterns as well as saltwater patterns. (Although, the saltwater patterns are working pretty well.)"

"Yes they look good and swim alright,but Ive used alot beter and have only caught one fish with these.I dont like the hook on these either,and they are too heavy!!! They cast a mile! "Wonderful Lure. This morning used it to catch a 9 lb, and two 4 lb bass and three nice stripers of around 3-4 lbs apiece. Tried everything else and finally started to jig this lure in about 15 feet of water and really got into them. Caught several 1-2 lb bass also. They really slam this lure. At this time of year fish are fattening up on shad in the Colorado River here in the Yuma area. Nice product and I need to order some more."
