"I bought 20 Packs of your rod holders mainly due to price. I fix and repair boats and also guide for catfish. They perform as well as the expensive ones and in todays market we are all looking for values. I shop Cabelas on line and in the catalog and save money by not burning up my gas running 100 miles round trip to the store. Keep up the bargins."

"These are rod holders, not trolling rigs. I have mounted them and they are very convenient. I bought extra brackets so I can move them around the boat as I need to. I have landed Seatrout and Shark with them, no worries. Good product."

"Nice rod holders for the price! No hardware included such as nuts and bolts but overall a nice product for the money. Took the locks off to make it easier to get the rod out of the holder but still give it four stars!"

"I have 8 of these on my boat. These rod holders don't look like much, but don't let the looks fool ya, they perform great. I have had 40 pound blue catfish double over rods in them and they held up great. I would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the locks. They are very poor. Two of them fell off when I was mounting the rod holders. 3 more have fallen off since. They are held on by a single rivet through through the plastic ring and don't last very long. Fortunately you do not seam to need the locks. I have not had a rod come out of any of the holders that the locks are missing. Overall they are great, especially for the money."

"The Action Rod Holders are great rod holders for dock or boat.
I use them on my fishing dock and this is my second order for some more. They are well made and I don't think they will ever wear out. I would recommend these to anyone needing rod holders. Also, Cabela's is a great place to order from."

"The price was good but the locks for your rod bind up some. I only use the holders for dropping straight down so the lock is not so important. If I start to troll I guess I will have to switch holders because I am unsure if they will hold up to it or the lock will cost me some fish."

"I put them on my 12-foot sit-in Design Concepts Kestrel kayak. I had to hole saw 1" holes just forward of the cockpit. I dropped the flush mounts in and drilled and bolted them to the yak. The rod holders slide into the flush mounts easily and can be rotated to the best position for the rods. The rod holders are plastic, but are rigid enough to easily hold spinning or bait-casting rods and reels. They work very nicely and I am entirely satisfied. And, the price is right."

"Buy these tender's!!! I have eight on my boat and love them. We took the lock ring off of a couple of them to fit bigger rods a little beter and still havn't lost a rod. Great price great product!!! We caught over 40 channels in one night rangeing b/t 3-15 pounds never wobbled the holder's. Thanks Cabela's"

"Great rod holder for the money. Steady construction, tight fitting parts, vertical rotating for positioning is good but horizontal positioning is a problem one selection like the reviews say. Hense the four stars. Thanks to Cabelas's great review system I already knew that and I knew I could fix it. I took my Dremal hand grinder with a 1/8th ceramic cutter bit and cut 3 more slots 90* from each other in each holder. If I want more angle in the future I'll just cut a couple more slots there's room. I have four holders their parts interchangable and they work great. Now that I changed them they are 5 star."

"Good rod holder, but you get what you pay for on these. I bought 2 of these and 1 Scotty. These require a large hole for the flush mount. Also, the rotating lock is not the easiest thing to maneuver if you're in a kayak. The sharp edges on the sliding locks can get you if you're not careful."
