"i had trouble with this radio not receiving a signal. i tried calling uniden 3 times and was put on holdeach time for 30 minutes then a recording told me to leave a message and they would return my call. no customer support for this product at all. would not recommend this product or any uniden product to anyone."

"From a cost standpoint, this is about the best marine band radio I've found. It works great and is fairly easy to use. I've only noticed two things that might be improved on.
1. The wiring harness for the external speaker and GPS input isn't insulated very well and if those wires aren't going to be used they should be capped and insulated permanantly.
2. The procedure for switching the unit from USA to International to Canadian bands is confusing at best and not well documented. One would need the manual to do it.
These negative comments are minor when considering the overall quality of this radio.
I would and have recommended it to others."
