Fish Eagle II muskie blank, 12-25#, 7', one piece,March 27, 2007
By rodbuildingWillyfrom I'm a conservative living in northern California,
"Have built at least 75 rotator wrap sturgeon & striper rods on this blank. There has been some failure, but as these are not fiberglass rods, some caution needs to be exercised when fighting a fish in the 70-100 pound range, This fact is always explained to the user. I have a 2 boat charter company that uses only my wraps when sturgeon fishing & are extremely pleased with their performance, especially as they are so lightweight. A few blanks did have a specific manufacturing defect & are handled quickly by customer returns. Try it - you'll like it.
