"Great product except for the suction cups that are supposed to hold it down in the livewell. The cups are hard and will not hold for longer than a half hour or so. I replaced them with some from the hardware store and now it works great. Shad stay alive all day using this product."

"my floating 110 volt aerator is an excellent product so far. it's been running steady for 2 weeks off of a 1 amp battery charger. i have a 8.8 cubic foot deep freeze with a timer that keep the water between 38 and 45 deg. i keep around 200 minnows in it at all times. only time will tell how long the aerator lasts, but so far, so good."

"Works Great! Keeps minnows alive for at least a week for me. I just change out some of the water every other day to keep it from getting nasty. I wish they would include an A/C adapter for it though, for when your not on the lake. Drains the battery after 8HRs. This is worth the money. Tried many others things including fish tank equipment. Can't beat it, just have to wait to see how it holds up now, going on three weeks."

"Just received the keepalive aerator and put it into the baitwell, everything looks and works exceptionally. I really like the air control valve that allows the operator to control water and air flow for different species of bait. Time will tell but thus far this unit seems a good buy."

"I bought this pump to put into a 100 qt. cooler I'd been using to haul fish from various small lakes & ponds around my farm back to the house for cleaning. I ended up using it to replace a 360gph pump in a Tote-Well portable livewell I acquired after ordering this pump from Cabelas. The best thing about this pump is the fact it comes with the suction cups to hold it in place on the bottom of the livewell, yet you can still remove it easily for cleaning. I have mine hooked to a hose and spray bar and it works very well although I'm not sure that it sucks the air in through the tube the way it should."

"This would be the 3rd one I have purchased. This aerator is by far the best in the market. I fish salt water exclusively and in a 30 gallon live well I can keep 200 pogies or pilchards alive all day. The impeller creates sooooooo many tiny air bubbles that it super-charges you water with air. Great design and a Great product."

"when tournament fishing don't be caught without a keep alive system. we fish crappie usa events and swear by these. on the warm days they can mean the difference between taking home a check or not. not only do they keep your fish alive, but if holding prespawn egg laded females they actually reduce the number of fish losing their eggs in the livewell by keeping them calm and healthy WE HIGHLY RECCOMEND THESE UNITS!!! "I have tried alot of different methods and various equipment to keep shad alive when fishing for stripers especially during the summer months. Wimpy fish indeed! Nothing more frustrating than to get up early to fish and open the tank only to see a bunch of floaters!
With a good quality insulated tank and a KeepAlive Aerator, I have been able to keep bait alive and lively for a couple days at a time. Adding a bit of salt and some ice can extend live time considerably. KeepAlive adds alot more O2 than other brands, by introducing alot of air where it counts, at the impeller. I wouldn't be without one anytime of the year. I have an extra just in case, but I have never had to use it because these things are just so durable!"
