Works like a charm - until they unravel,April 26, 2009
By DeerCreekFlyFisherfrom MD
"These are a good little pattern, especially for the Deer Creek in Maryland. They get down low where the rainbows hide and they work their magic.
I'm not certain how long I expected them to hold together, but the number seems to be about 4 or 5 good battles with trout. After that, you are left with dangling thread, a lot of fluff, and the bead.
If you are particularly careful, you could rotate these throughout your fishing day and repair them yourself with cement in the evenings. Just a thought....
...or the manufacturer could do a better job perhaps...
In any event I still use them in my suite - I just know that I need to repair them often.
I will use them until I find something that does just as good but is maybe a better quality."

Bead Head Prince Nymph,January 28, 2008

"These Nymphs' look well tied and pattern is accurate, however the jury is out on how well they are made. I will have to let the trout decide that after little teeth knaw on them a few times. Lets go fishin!! I have used Prince Nymphs from many other sources and will compare these."

Prince Nymph,November 13, 2007

"The Tungsten Beadhead Prince Nymph catches trout but the quality of workmanship is poor. After only a short time of fishing with it the body is unraveling. I don't expect it to last forever but it start to come apart after only 1/2 of fishing."
