"Good hooks. Their shape seems to hook fish really well when they are hanging off crankbaits like the original hot 'n' tots. Their shape means they also work very well as a barbless hook. As a catch 'n' release enviro-fisher I have crushed the barbs on this model of hook for a few years now, used them as barbless hooks, and they hold fish well in barbless format. Also they are strong enough to hold really big (i.e. 30 lbs) fish that occasionally show up. The larger sizes they come in (as opposed to many models of treble hook) is also very useful. Very happy with them."
