Good Mag,

"This mag was a good upgrade from the stock plastic one on my bother's Ruger Mark II. Solid metal construction but catridges due tend to stick in the opening while I was loading them into the mag. If it didn't do this then I would rate it "Great"."

"bought two of these just to try out. would have been better off buying one Kimber and putting the rest toward ammo.
Will not hold the slide open on my Colt Mark IV series 80 nor will it drop free. follower gets to the slide catch then just slips over it so you have to PULL the mag out. Might be okay for plinking but not if anything important at stake. Nice finish though."

"I got this magazine form my Ruger MK II. The design is blocky and ugly to look at for starters. It does not have a good side assist for feeding as do the actual MK II magazines from Ruger as well. The feeding was also not as reliable as the traditional magazines and feeding that 10th round into it is harder than it should be. Without a speed feeder it hurts to use this magazine. The only reason I give it two stars is that it works better than hand feeding rounds into the chamber. I'm looking for a surplus MK II mag once again now."

"I haven,t fired the gun with this mag, just loaded it and cycled rounds thru it, but it sure does'nt fit like factory. I have to really slam it in to get it locked in place, and there's nothing but a flat, thin piece of tin on the bottom that isn't secured well the the rest of the mag. For another $9.00 i cudda had a factory mag! My mistake!!!"

"Just retuned a set of Ruger MarkII magazines. They were of very poor quality. Not quite designed right. Failed to feed about every other shot. I hope this saves some other person from having to return these. I hope Cabela's sticks with quality prouducts because this many bad reviews can't be wrong."
