"It's not easy to make a 3 lb + pistol comfortable to carry, but this holster took the load and kept it snug. Long days walking over tundra can wear ya out...ya don't need a pistol riding in the wrong place to make it any more difficult than it is."

Holster for SW 500 or SW 460,January 31, 2008

"I bought this holster in the hopes that it would fit my S&W 460 since it is the same frame as the 500. It works great. Heavy duty leather and no metal inside the holster to scratch the gun finish. It has a wide belt loop and a good-quality snap. My buddy tried it with his 2 3/4 inch barrel 460 and it fits that one well, too. Obviously, it is a little too long for the shorter barrel but the gun fits snugly against the trigger guard and does not slide down inside the holster. Good quality. Good price."
