"I bought this holster for my S&W 460 XVR with an 8-1/2" barrel. I dont care much for the "across the chest" type of holsters for the big revolvers because they always feel like they are in the way and not to mention look kinda silly. This holster makes my 460 comfortable to carry and yet is is a noticable chunk of iron on your hip, its entirely manageable. You might benifit from a wide and stiff leather belt to make it just that much more comfortable to carry. If your a whiner when it comes to carrying your gear, you may not have any buisness carrying a revolver of that size and power to begin with. ..... just a thought.
But all in all a great product and I would recomend it to anyone who is in search of an alternative to the dreaded "across the chest" holster!"
