"I've fished a lot of 'Spooks over the years and the only knock I had against them were the stock hooks they came with. the first thing I would do was replace them. The Excaliber Hooks on this series of baits are, to say the least, awesome! The standard SuperSpook is easy to cast and easy to work. The Jr. is just the right size when going after active fish. What more can I say? they took a great lure and made it even better."

"this is the BEST topwater lure you can buy if you want to catch HUGE smallies. I have caught numerous 3-4 pound smallies in a lake in northern wisconsin and 1 6-7 lb. smallie. The rebel popper is no doubt the best topwater lure to catch decent size bass all day but if you want to catch MONSTERS then use this!!!!"

"If you want to catch 20 - 30 inch specks and reds in the Laguna Madre grass flats get a few of these. Wind, no wind, over cast or high blazing sun you will catch fish. I do recommend changing out the hooks to a smaller size to keep them from foul with the line in high wind."
