"My biggest complaint when I purchased my vacuum sealer was the time it took to make my own bags from the rolls that came with it. These bags cost about the same and since they are ready to use they save me time."

"The old cabelas vac bags had liner on the whole bag. They were tough. This version only has a strip. Bones and sharper object puncture the bag and some leak. They are better then the foodsaver stuff. Best i could find as of right now."

"I have used every size of the vacuum bags. Everything from meat & fish to rice & pasta get vac sealed. The bags are a bit pricey, however, considering the loss to freezer burn that we used to have, they are quite economical. A longer lasting seal is achieved if the product is frozen or partially frozen prior to packaging, in that any liquid is not sucked up into the mesh to compromise the heat seal."

"Purchased the bags by recommendation from a friend. Use them to store skipjack for future catfishing. Bags are thick enough to prevent fish fins from puncturing through and the right size for the amount of fish we prefer to use at one time."

"This is the first time I have used the Cabela's branded bags. I normally use the Foodsaver brand but wanted to give these a try to see how they would perform. I was not dissapointed. They appear to perform just as well and also have a liner in them that helps seal items that have excess moisture in them. I see no reason at this point that I will not use the Cabela's bags in the future."
