"This product is fantastic. It is most definitely top quality Mill Spec.!!!
The product itself deserves 5 Stars, the only reason 4 stars was given is due to shipping rates. The shipping is almost as much as the product itself (100ft), but is still the cheapest combined total I have found on the net. However They did ship the product very quickly, and it arrived in 3 business days!! Cabela's has always carried top quality products, and this is no exception.
If you have never used 550 cord before, be prepared! You will go through it very quickly once you realize how many uses it has! Don't be fooled by cheaper knock-offs. Often times 550 para cord will be advertised as mill spec but is not even close to the quality and consistency as the real stuff. Do your homework and read reviews, if they are not offered then there is probably a reason."

"Ive used military para cord for years.This is some amazing stuff.You can even hang a hammock, with this stuff.This cord is even stronger than rope of bigger diameter.I used to get the actual military para cord, but MILSPEC is probably the closest ive found to the actual military para cord.Most all of MILSPEC gear is very good and Cabelas offers this cord at a pretty good price.I highly recommend this paracord,you simply can not go wrong buying this stuff.Well worth the money."

"This cord is awesome, I bought the one hundred foot length and immediately upon recieving it tried to snap it using weights. I could not, all it does is stretch with a couple of hundred pounds on it; so I'll say that the claims about its load bearing capacity are valid.."

"I purchased the 100' coil a while back, but used it all up and loved it so much I bought the 1000' roll this time! This rope is perfect for hauling up your gun or bow up to the tree stand, the BEST boot laces ever, and great for so much more its too much to list. The rope is extremely strong and durable for its size. You will find so many uses for this stuff you can't even imagine."

"I bought the 1000 ft spool and I am glad I did. The spool is very handy to roll off just what you need and it stays neat, untangled and, well, on the spool. The cord is very handy and strong! I keep the spool in my truck tool box and used it in Oregon for a wall tent, clothes lines and other uses. In a group camp usually someone want a piece of cord for something and bingo, here it is!

"With a 1000' roll of this and two rolls of duct tape I think someone could take over the world!!
There isn't a weekend that goes by that we don't use it and my boys are always finding new uses ... at least from how fast my roll disappears, they are.

"This cord is the perfect all-purpose camping cord. You might be able to break it with a large truck but I wouldn't bet on it.
Toss a ream of it in your vehicle and leave some at home too. You will be using it for everything from making your own parachutes to tying your tent down to ... etc. etc.
I didn't know I needed it until I got it."
